A friend of mine introduced this restaurant to me, I must say coming from food reviewer this place rocks! Everything from the freshness and quality and food is very authentic. The waitress staff were very friendly. A must if your stopping in the area. Nicely seasoned

Omg absolutely HUGE portions and very delicious! I think this is an authentic place because I grew upnwith people fresh from Mexico and I can hardly tell the difference. They even have lengua, didn’t expect that. The only thing, the server wasn’t very respectful to me, but she wasn’t rude either. If you want authentic cuisine, get over here now.

This is one of the best Mexican food places I have been in Houston, TX. The flavor is authentic and the food portions are large. The service is great and you leave very satisfied. The tip is included in party of 6 or more so watch your ticket closely.

The food was good; it looked good and tasted good. The Aguas frescas were delicious, with a touch of flavor and not too sweet. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the best part was the Gotdita de chicharron.

I can still taste this picture. The #6 green chicken enchiladas (with fajita chicken) was a sensory treat for my tongue. The fajita chicken was cooked perfectly and sliced thin and long, just enough for me to double it over and dip it into the green sauce. The green Chile sauce tasted fresh, and for some reason the sour cream tastes incredible when served with any dish in this restaurant. Mixing the rice into the overflow sauce was deeeee-licious! (The fork is for scale- this plate is HUGE.)

Now let me talk about the chips and salsa they serve you first. Some places serve greasy chips I don’t want to eat but this place has thicker chips that are not at all greasy. The chip grips the green salsa (in the white bottle) and delivers it to my mouth for a spice experience unparalleled by other green sauces. It’s HOT. It burns, but burns so clean. I don’t know what’s in the red bottle but it’s an orange sauce I tasted once and didn’t taste again. Can’t speak for that experience. I’m not a fan of the salsa in the bowl but the taste is fresh.

Not pictured: Tamarindo, Jamaica, horchata drinks I’ve had there. Yum yum.

It’s clean but quiet enough for me to sit and enjoy watching a show with AirPods without the sound having to be turned up super loud. The wait staff is few but very attentive, checking in me multiple times during the meal.

Overall, go and enjoy something on the menu. Everything I’ve had is good.

I forgot to take pictures once, but I did take a pic of the giant torta I was served for $8! It was delicious! (Plastic spoon for scale) The bread was soft and fluffy, and the chicken is delicious all the time. I don’t know what they do to the chicken breast but it is delicious!

I rate this place 6 stars!

Pictures updated continuously as I eat here. Sometimes I don’t take pictures because the delicious smells of my arriving food erase that task from my memory.

I use to drive past here all the time not thinking how AMAZING this place is. This is a real genuine latino culture tasting food. Praise the owner as well for having such respectful and good service ladies in the front working fast pace. 10/10
The rojo chilaquiles for breakfast and the chorizo burrito for breakfast is a must try!

The salsas are off the chain!!! Literally!! The food was so so. Very extensive menu. They have a drive-through as well and trust me I will be going back and ordering salsas at this place. They are delicious!!! Cheese is weird as are the refried beans. I have no idea what they use in them, but I have never tasted anything like it before. It was not great at all.

The ‘pico de gallo’ is very watery like a salsa & is so good!!! The chile con queso was like ballpark melted from microwave cheese. Ay Ay Ay Ay Ay. The staff are EXCELLENT!!!

The food here is so good and great prices. I’ve had breakfast here a few times, but dropped in tonight for dinner. The nachos are massive. My wife really liked here Gordita and the kid enjoyed his quesadilla. Good service as well.

First time trying this place and it will definitely be the last. The food was terrible and the service was trash. Very rude customer service. I ordered the chicken torta and the chicken was undercooked. I tried to take out the bad pieces so I could continue to eat it but every bite was a tough piece of chicken. I went back and got my order replaced with the shredded chicken flautas. While I waited I drank my agua de pina, I asked for a refill and was told they don’t give refills. I said even after I was served raw chicken? The cashier just said okay thank you and walked away. 2 red flags right there. I say okay and leave. Now I’m eating the flautas and they’re a tad overcooked but I don’t mind beside I like them extra crispy but come on, at first it’s undercooked and now overcooked like wth. Not only that I expect vegetables cooked with the chicken but there was an actual thick leaf that I could literally not bite through in the flauta. I’m assuming it was a bay leaf but those should be removed before serving. This was cooked into the flautas and you have no way of knowing unless you bite into it. This is a choking hazard and could cause injury to your digestive tract. I didn’t eat that either so I was left with no food and money wasted. The food was one thing but the customer service just made it that much worse.

Dam, this is good. I wasn’t expecting this but when the chips and salsa came out I’d an idea it was going to be more than I expected. Clean, not oily, great quality, great price.

Let’s be honest here, it’s not ‘date night’ atmosphere but they focus on the food which is great.
