Delicious authentic Mexican food, loved the king size tacos, amazing price during taco Tuesday. Carne asada, pastor, and fish taco were delicious. Will be thinking about these tacos for a while! Delicious and fresh salsas, guacamole, and chips. Great food and great prices, highly recommend. Happy hour deals from 3-6 as well. Great service too. Amazing, will be back.

Ok, so. I have been coming here for like 3 years and it has gradually gotten worse since I started. But this was the topper. I’m giving two stars because one just feels mean. They have a punch card system, so by the time you get to your “free burrito” you have already dropped like $130 right. I order a Cali burrito with chicken. Super stocked. My first bite was a delicious chicken fat and cartilage (yum yum)I basically got old guac and pico and none of the other ingredients that make what it is supposed to be. I could not even eat. Everything was gross. So not only was I regular costumer. They just took no care in making their food for me for a while. Maybe just bad luck right? Oh and all the chicks who work here are super spaced out so make sure they get the order right. Pretty much bought a $4 can of coke after tip. Not coming back 😉

Rancho Viejo is another fantastic Mexican food option that doesn’t break the bank; it’s where I go when I want delicious, made-to-order King tacos. My usual order will be one carne asada, one grilled fish and one grilled shrimp; the carne asada taco is saved for next day’s lunch, but the other two are more than enough for a complete dinner. It’s an incredible value that comes in at just about ten dollars!
Other great menu items include the Cali burrito and the carne asada fries. I’m sure their entire menu is just as good, but I can get boring and predictable in my food habits, so I stick to my known winners.
Take note: this cooked to order food will often take 15 or 20 minutes to be ready, depending on rush hour timing. I’d advise ordering ahead for pickup if you’re the type who gets easily impatient and expects “fast food” speed everywhere you go. Otherwise, sit down and enjoy the pretty, cozy little restaurant atmosphere around you as you wait. They’ve clearly worked hard to decorate and maintain the place, and it should be appreciated IMO.

Good food just be aware that the special prices on window are not correct. I ordered the asada fries thinking they were $10 as posted but were actually a dollar more and they didn’t adjust the price for me. I also asked the girl working to check on the Cali burrito price and that also was coming up for a dollar more. I would consider that false advertising.

Employees were extremely helpful and nice. The inside is clean and well maintained. They offer free drink refills at the soda fountain, a luxury that many restaurants don’t include anymore post Covid. I really enjoyed the food. The tacos are great. Just the right amount of flavor and fillings. Everyone else on the menu looked good, and I will update as I try more! Keep up the great work!

UPDATE: not sure where this friendly service is everyone is talking about. It’s just ok. Took my hubby for breakfast. He wanted chilaquiles with over easy eggs….. like their menu says. They only have scrambled eggs…. Ugh. Got it anyway with red sauce. Asked hubby what his second choice would be so we ordered a chorizo & egg burrito. We ended up switching. The chilaquiles are covered in red SALSA, not red enchilada sauce.
They also charge a .75 cent fee for using a card. Don’t think we will come back
Got 2 crispy tacos, 1 beef, 1 chicken. Beef was very flavorful, chicken was chopped, not shredded. Super yummy, loaded with meat. Prices were very reasonable!
Lady behind the counter could have been more friendly. Never smiled or greeted us. Not too outgoing. Could barely hear her asking us questions.
The food came out hot and fast. I’d come back!

I ordered, for take-out, chicken enchiladas and a beef hard shell taco.
The food came very quickly, under five minutes. When I brought it home, the food was below average. It was very oil-heavy, and the enchilada tortilla was very tough, and appeared soaked with oil. I tasted the cheese more than the tortilla or the meat. The chicken was average and tough.
The taco outer wrapping was soaked with oil. The beef tasted like beef but was very tough, and was chunky. I could also feel and taste the heavy amount of oil on the taco shell.
Overall average enchiladas and taco. I am not an expert in cooking so I can’t tell if everything was reheated, hence the speediness of the service. I am not sure if it was due to it being takeout, but I have had other takeout enchiladas before. I am not sure I will revisit.

Middle of the road experience. The burrito was ok. I ordered the al pastor in the recommendation of the friendly staff member. It wasn’t hot when it arrived. The guacamole and pico cooled the burrito down to the point of being just above room temperature. The meat was warm. Thankfully. It had a different kind of marinade than what I’m used to when I order Al pastor. Almost like a dried ancho chilli marinade. Not bad, just not what I’m used to. The tortilla was cold. The chips were stale and over salted. There wasn’t anything about the experience that would make me want to come back here. Best of luck.
