This gem is a little off the beaten path but you definitely dont want to miss it! They are a ScCal taco shop but they elevate themselves by being a step above – flavorful food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere.

Never disappoints!! The staff is always very welcoming creates a perfect environment. Gabby, the cashier always greets us with a beautiful big smile and she introduced us to the carne asada fries with chipotle sauce, don’t judge it until you try it. We will definitely be returning customers!!

It’s hard to be above average when you live in North County San Diego but there are Mexican restaurants everywhere so there’s definitely an expectation when it comes to Mexican food. The carne asada here is OK. I think I good measure is salsa and carne asada tacos. This place has a nice indoor sitting area and aguafrescas but the bottom line is that it’s just an average Mexican restaurant. The pico de gallo tomatoes were not ready so they were tasteless.

Loved the food my first time here!!! I got fish/shrimp tacos plate. Food came out pretty quick. Salsa variety is great and they taste fantastic!! None of that watered down salsa many fast-food joints have. Can’t wait to come back and try something new.

Used to be Alberto’s which went down hill for awhile. Glad to have another Mexican foot spot. As of October 2022, I can only vouch for the breakfast burritos. I enjoyed the steak and eggs as well as the RBB. Restaurant is nicely remodeled. Very clean! Excited to try many of the other burritos

Definitely a place to visit for anyone living close by. The menu is large for any craving. Very quick and timely service, friendly customer service. Ordered the Chimichanga and was filled up with a few bites. The cooks were on point. Visit if you get an opportunity.

I bought the carnitas burrito, take-out. The meat was so tender and flavorful and they had a heap of guacamole as well.

Great specials! Good food! Just looks like a basic taco shop, nothing fancy inside, but they have great specials! We come here for the $1 fish tacos and the rolled tacos and Mini tacos. Everything is fresh and made quickly to order. They are always friendly when we go here, sit down or take out. They have great Mexican sodas and horchata, salsas are all good too! I don’t know why someone said they wouldn’t go based on their prices seem to be high? This is your classic tacos shop, and as many small businesses struggle to stay alive these days, I’m happy to pay for the food here than many other spots
