12.1.24 Absolutely love this place because it’s very cute and colorful inside and the service, although they were understaffed today, is always good. The staff is very nice and polite. Every time I come here, I leave with a full heart and the biggest smile. The staff truly makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. There’s always genuine warmth, laughter, and conversations that make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
Honestly, I’ll happily drive the full 40 minutes just to hang out and catch up with my favorite bartender, Jose. That alone says everything about the kind of place this is. You’re never treated like just another customer — you’re treated like someone who belongs.
The atmosphere is comforting, the people are amazing, and the energy is always uplifting. Rancho Viejo isn’t just somewhere you go for service — it’s somewhere you go to feel good. I’ll keep coming back every time

This restaurant was recommended to me and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. You wouldn’t expect the authenticity of this restaurant with its location, but the food and decorations we’re both on point. I had the carne asada, and it was delicious. My partner had Camarones a la plancha, which was also delicious. If you love mexican food, you definitely need to come, try it out.

Well, I would have loved to comment on the food but after waiting 30 minutes I find out they forgot my order. Now, I did come in a few minutes before 8 pm but there was at least one table and several booths with people in them. If the kitchen is closed just tell me. The salsa was very chunky and more like pico, which was fine. The house margarita was serviceable, I did drink it. Oh well perhaps next time I’m in the area.

We came from out of state and tried on the fly, super good and wish it was local to Maryland. Great portions, fresh veggies, my shrimp was to die for! Prices seemed slightly high until we saw the food, it was worth it.

Came here with a group of people (during covid when places were starting to open up) and the food was very very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the drinks were delicious. I think our tables ate a few baskets of chips because the salsa they sever with it is so delicious! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is in a plaza, but it’s really good authentic Mexican food. The salsa is so fresh, the jalapeno cheese dip was one of the best Ive had, the chicken soup was great very fresh, everything was great, and the Margaritas were very good as well. I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu
