Very happy to find a great Colombian Restaurant in NJ.
Food was delicious and the service at the bar amazing.
Will be coming again from NYC. So worth it.
Thank you

Food is good but nothing to rave about. Drinks are also OK but on the expensive side – a mojito is $15, and Happy Hour ends at 6 pm, when it generally ends at 7 pm in most places. Meanwhile, at 6:15 pm, on a Thursday night, the bar was almost completely empty and the entire restaurant was 10% full. Service is attentive and courteous. The music is on the loud side.

I live nearby in the area and have been here 3 times over the past 7 years. Food is good, service is very good (very nice staff), and music is great. Its spacious and comfortable to dine in. BUT the music is WAY TOO LOUD. Like deafening, permanent hearing loss loud. I see in these review that I am not the only one who thinks so. Please GM Juan Rendon, listen to this feedback and adjust the volume. We want to dance. We want to hear the music, but we should be able to talk, laugh, hear other people. Its literally painful to the ears. If this were resolved, I would definitely come here more regularly. I’m sure they are missing out on a lot more repeat business because of this issue. So easy to fix too.

So we went to this restaurant for Father’s Day once there we got a quick table but after giving our order in we had to wait 45 to 50 minutes for food to come out the place was getting busy I understand that but I feel the service could’ve been better I ordered a Grilled skirt steak with shrimp and plantains well done came out a little red with blood on and the plantain wasn’t well done super greasy my kids food came out good no complaints my wife order a soup never came out and so we had to cancel that didn’t want to wait longer and she order Colombian style shrimp ceviche the shrimp wasn’t well done and I ordered dessert It wasn’t good other than that I feel I could’ve been better service, but since the tip was already included in the bill I feel that that’s why the service wasn’t better it looks like she had too many tables to take care of this was my first time coming to this Restaurant if I go again I’ll update my review.

We ordered the Entraña Mateo in our order which includes bacon, cheese, onions, and mushrooms on top of the meat, and costs roughly 40 dollars. But we called ahead and asked only for the mushrooms to be removed; we then went, picked up the food and returned home meanwhile we don’t live in any way close to the restaurant we’re about 30 minutes away from there. And we come home to see that we have meat but nothing on top so we’re confused when we see that nothing is present but we only asked for the mushrooms off. This place is going down the drain from when we last went apparently.

This is my 2nd time here. Today i had the Colombian Paiza which includes white rice, a piece of steak, beans, un pedaco de chicharon de cerdo, a small arepita and maduros! And had a Coconut Margarita. Also irdered the Marisco salad..you get lots of shrimp, clams & calamari..The ambience is family friendly. Great music playlist and good vibes

The space itself is really nice—spacious and well-decorated—but the acoustics are a major issue. The music was way too loud for a restaurant. It felt more like a club, which made it nearly impossible to have a conversation, even with someone sitting right next to you. The volume was so high that even the staff had trouble hearing us, and we struggled to hear them as well. It really took away from the overall dining experience. On top of that, the food was disappointing. I ordered my steak medium rare and clearly said it three times—the server even repeated it back to me—but it still came out medium well. It was dry, tough, and lacked flavor.
I also explained that I cannot eat onions before ordering and the waiter confirmed the salad with my meal has onions but offered to substitute my salad with rice since I cannot eat onions. That was very nice of him, but he gave me yellow rice that had onions in it so I couldn’t eat that. On top of that, the maduros, which I grew up on and eat all the time, looked and tasted old. I couldn’t even eat them and others at my table agreed with the steak and maduros. We had a big table and overall, we were not happy with this place. The pandebono wasn’t great either, the bottom was a bit burned which i was able to peel off… but overall not a very good pandebono… I lived in Englewood for like 15 years and would get them all the time… way better. I wasn’t drinking alcohol that night so ordered a Shirley Temple with extra cherries, something I order when I don’t feel like drinking, and it was awful. First off, not 1 cherry lol but it was mostly Grenadine syrup! So hard to drink. I had my gf, her sister, and her aunt try it. No one liked it. That all really took away from the experience.
Also, one of my friends ordered a dirty martini and it tasted really strange more like pickle juice and liquor. She tried to drink it, but she couldn’t and I don’t blame her. A few of us tasted it… not good. She asked the waiter if she could trade it for a margarita because someone else got one and said it was okay. The waiter comes back with another dirty martini that was even worse! The piña colada was pretty good, weak, but not bad. Maybe stick with that. A few people at the table got it so I got to taste it. I will not be coming back here ever. Colombia Kaliente in Englewood is where its at- 10,000 times better.

The food was great! We had the American breakfast and the típico one. The fried eggs were a bit oily but on point. The coffee was also great. Adriana was very helpful and a good server. I highly recommend this place for breakfast plus it has good atmosphere.
