Ordered food to go. Two tacos plate and two enchiladas plate which come with salad or soup and a large burrito. The person was really amicable and agreeable but the order was not quite what I ordered. I wanted a burrito with lettuce tomatoes and onions and she ordered something different…Apparently they could not accommodate my changes to the menu

NO WAY THIS ISN’T 5 STAR ALL DAY!!!!! This place was so good. Authentic! Great staff who were helpful with recommendations. A great atmosphere complete with music and dancing. It is “split” slightly so you have a restaurant in one side and a bar in the other. I would have sat in either and had a blast. The food was excellent. Steak Trancas were to die for and I would go back in a second. This really is a must try if looking for authentic Mexican food in the San Fran area!!! BEWARE – their house spicy salsa, the darker one, has a good deal of kick to it.

Best authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten. I make it a point to visit Mexican restaurants whenever I travel and previously The Red Iguana in SLC held the title of best I had ever had, that changed today. I had the beef chimichanga and my wife had the carnitas. Both were excellent. The dark salsa was also amazing. Enjoy?

Great service from the staff! The food here was delicious and was a great value for what you paid for. It’s a great place to take the family out to eat and enjoy the latin inspired atmosphere and have a couple drinks at the bar. Highly Recommend!

Ordered a steak burrito.for $3 more especial w/sourcream guacamole and cheese.came plopped on side side next to burrito and not in burrito. Ordered carnitas burrito $3.00 more for wet style enchiladas sauce (nutmeg spice added) and $2 more was added . No wonder this place is always empty. The girl server was nice. Not her fault food was not good at all.

Wow, this place had amazing reviews so I was so excited to try it, and the food was very tasty and the chips/salsa were exceptionally good, but I was most outraged by the price I paid and the dishonesty and lack of integrity of the waiter (or the deceptive nature of the restaurant’s menu)…..

$5.00 for a can of coke, and the menu had fountain beverage price listed as $4.00, I have never paid more than $2.00 for a can. When I buy them at Safeway they are around fifty cents each when I buy a 24 pack, and I expect a markup but not a 10x markup. The price of a can was not on the menu so I assumed it would be less than the fountain …..

Also the burrito was listed on the menu for $15 but somehow the price was inflated to $17.95 on the check.

I was in a rush so I paid it and left, but on reflection I really felt I was taken advantage of and exploited and the sheer dishonesty the waiter (young guy and this was around 1:30 pm on 2/14/25) had completely ruined the experience.

Lastly, the food was served warm ish, not hot.

Massive disappointment and I had to leave a bad review to warn others of the experience. Photo is posted as evidence.

You better come hungry. The vegetarian wet burrito was massive. It was stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, grilled corn and all the fixins’. The ingredients were high quality. These were not your cheap small mushrooms. The flavors were well balanced. I normally don’t like veggies in my burrito but this was delicious. The salsas were super fresh and amazing. One was spicy and the other was mild. The outdoor dining was spacious and the service was impeccable.

Excellent food, great service and cozy atmosphere with booth seating. Combo plates always have enough food for leftovers. Typically get cheese enchiladas and steak taco combo with a side of tortillas for later

The food is delicious!! Made with decent quality ingredients. Well worth the prices!!

The service provided by Elena is the best!!!! She took the time to explain the choices for the food I ordered. She kept coming back to ask if we needed anything. Her level of customer service makes you want to come back.
