Amazing service from the moment we walked in. The beef rolled tacos were amazing! The green and red salsa were perfect. Husband ordered the surf and turf burrito (no picture since he started eating it right away). Will definitely come back again.

I can’t tell you how delicious the food was here. I’m vegetarian and I still was able to get an exceptional meal. The chips and guac was incredible, The taco rolls were wonderful, The veggie burrito was very tasty and The virgin Pina colada was big and delicious. I’d go again for sure.

Ranking for the category of fast casual mexican food, emphasis on seafood. Nice looking and clean, new remodel of a former pizza place in the strip mall. Great service, large menu with a seafood focus and beer & wine. The food was fresh made and tasty. We did not have seafood, but we enjoyed the standard staples. The chicken flautas were crisp but not overcooked. Fries were good. Quesidillas were cooked perfectly and flavorful. Street tacos were a delight. The chilie rellenos/enchilada combo was excellent. Horchata tasted great, but was a little thin, but very refreshing. The guacamole tasted like fresh avocado, excellent, but could use some spices and onion, tomato, etc. The salsa served with chips was just OK. Flavor was good but the salsa was very thin and watery, did not scoop on the chip, and was a disappointment. The chips were OK, but not served warm and tasted like out of a bag. The sour cream also was very thin and quickly became runny, I suggest getting better salsa and sour cream. The food quality was great, and I would eat here again. Plenty of parking and great ADA access. Kid friendly, and a kids menu. A good family place. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were smiling and friendly, and very knowledgeable.

The old Rossi’s Pizza location off Rancho Santa Fe road is now Rancho Las Palmas Mexican food. They did a great job changing up the layout of the place and it looks very clean and modern. There’s TVs dedicated to showing sports on a few walls and they added a bar where draft beers and margaritas will be served. We ordered the surf and turf burrito and carnitas plate which were both tasty. Service was top notch and prices were easy on the wallet . I saw that they have chicken flautas which I’m pretty excited about since not a lot of places around here make them. Can’t wait to try more food here

I’m not a fan. Fast service and friendly staff, but the food has no flavor. I always get nachos when I go to a new Mexican place. If you can’t do nachos right, then how can I expect them to get anything else right? Anyway, the nachos are not good at all. The meat literally has no flavor. It’s like chewing gum that has been chewed for several hours and out of flavor. No spice at all. I think the chips were store bought too. Anyway, no flavor at all. My wife’s fajitas were the same story. No flavor at all. I would not come back.

I’m Hispanic and grew up eating real Mexican food and this place is really good! I especially like their refried beans and Mexican rice. The main dishes I’ve tried so far are the chorizo breakfast with refried beans and rice. Delicious! Will be coming back to try more dishes, as soon as they open again at their new location in San Marcos. I previously ate at their previous Escondido location, which is now closed. Sure, it’s a longer drive to San Marcos, but the food is worth it!

Was a bit skeptical at first seeing that they had just opened. Me and my fiancé were willing to give this place a try. And we can honestly say that there food was nothing but delicious. We were never the type to stay for desert, but we’re glad we did ! Highly recommend to eat here. The staff was extremely nice and accommodated any of our needs. No doubt we will be returning and can’t wait to see this place prosper more in the future.

When we lived in Escondido this was our favorite Mexican place. We moved to Texas and couldn’t wait to get back. The new location is just as good. The waitresses and cooks are just top notch. Can’t say enough. Give this place a try!

Been to this place on 4 separate occasions and have tried different items on the menu. Overall I liked the place but not everything on the menu is that great. The fried fish plate was excellent, properly fried, not dry and well seasoned. The shrimp and fish ceviche tostadas are really good. Doesnt feel cold and doesnt taste refrigerated overnight so you can tell its made fresh everyday. The carne asada fries were bomb, not super oily and the carne asada on top was good. My one regret was the shrimp and fish tacos empanizados. Batter on the tacos was too thick and not well fried, fish and shrimp inside was flavorless and they put too much cabbage and pico de gallo so it tastes overbearingly like veggies. The 8 different salsas were ok. The horchata and jamaica waters are on point, not too sweet and not watery (diluted). Michelada was good. Service is ok, not enough servers. Definitely would come back here for the tostadas, just not for tacos.
