Stranded overnight due to a mechanical failure on the train, this place grabbed my attention.
The food is amazing! I got the lunch fajitas and the flavors were rich and lovely. The beef was deliciously marinated and grilled tomato slices perfection. I had a pleasant surprise of grilled tomatoes in with the other veggies and they really added to the flavors.
Top notch! If I stop in Ottumwa again, definitely going to be my meal stop.

We stopped going here because of the change in employees/management. Have gone back a couple time and was no better. Considering the hype that’s been going around lately, figured we’d give it another shot. Still tastes the same, at least it was hot this time. A lot higher priced than any of the other Mexican restaurants in town. Will continue to drive to Fairfield, Bloomfield or a couple blocks over from them. Not impressed.
