My husband and I went to Rancho Grande today for lunch. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us right away with menus and silverware. She said our waitress would be right with us. Our waitress did come quickly, she greeted us with a lovely smile. We ordered 2 diet Cokes and the street corn appetizer. The street corn was really good. Enough for two to split or get one each it so good you might not want to share, it’s served with cucumber slices, radish slices and a pickled spicy food item that we were unfamiliar with. ( I forgot to ask what it was) I also forgot to take a photo of the dish. It was all presented very nicely (very colorful too)
Our lunch, I had the Pollo Vallarta and my husband had the Seafood chimichanga.
My dish was nice and hot. The plated food was very pleasing to the eye. The taste was excellent! Everything about the chicken, shrimp and pineapple was beautifully blended. The salad mix and rice were also very tasty. The portion was a good amount.
My husband’s Seafood Chimichanga was very well prepared and presented. Nice large portion and the fillings were very tasty. Served with yellow rice and refried beans.
Our waitress was very good with being attentive to our drinks with quick refills. She also asked several times if we needed anything else.
Overall this is a great place for lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

Came here on a whim, Piping hot food. Incredible queso to go with our chips and salsa. Ordered the tacos de barbacoa, and they had the most tender, juicy, and flavorful meat imaginable. Came with two different salsas to dip them in, pure bliss. We got the pink Cadillac margarita which was also delicious. I think we’re coming back tonight for the second night in a row because it was THAT GOOD. Simplemente delicioso.

First time at this restaurant. I was seated right away and opted to try the Berry Nina Fresca Margarita, which was delicious! Restaurant was not busy and food arrived quickly. I ordered the Pollo Espinaca, which is chicken breast covered with mushrooms, spinach, and a cheese sauce. It came with rice & beans. The flavor was really good, and seasoned well. The only negative was that the chicken breast was unevenly cook. It’s butterflied and grilled and parts were very tender and other parts were a bit chewy. Otherwise, the dish was fabulous. I would definitely visit again and try other items on the menu as well as some of their other cocktails.

Absolutely outstanding! The best of the best authentic Mexican in the entire low country! Tried so many restaurants and was a regular at Agave until it changed, the food quality went down along with the service. Many people encouraged us to try out Rancho Grande and we finally did! Can’t believe we waited this long, but we are so excited to come back again and enjoy this amazing authentic food. The food wasn’t just amazing, the restaurant, the staff and the drinks were made with top shelf and quality products. Our server Victor was outstanding and Impeccable customer service skills! You definitely set the bar high and the standard. In the world where customer service is lacking Rancho grande hits it out of the park bravo to the chefs and the back their cooking up a storm. There’s much to be proud of with this restaurant whoever owns it is running it with pride. A true testimony to the beauty of Mexican cooking.

I really enjoyed my shrimp tacos, it was a little spicy for my taste, guessing the spice was from the red onion as I picked out a few jalapenos. I also enjoyed tasting my parents chicken and beef taco salads.
Loved the Texas Rice dish, saw the Lava Rice on the screen when we walked in and just opted out of the chorizo. Good stuff!

Rancho Grande always has good food and drinks, but our server, Victor, completely exceeded our expectations tonight. He made these gorgeous drinks for us and helped me decide what I wanted for dinner by suggesting an edit to the chef, which was perfect. I then had him surprise me with a drink concoction of his making, which I asked to be spicy and fruity and MAN did he deliver. Truly one of the best waiters I’ve had in a very long time.

The lunch menu was a typical Mexican flair. We had a chicken toco salad that was clean, and the shell was thin and not greasey as some tend to be.
We also had chili poblano a toco lunch plate # 2 it was very good but a little cold. The taco was dripping with hamburguesa grease
I ate it without complaint.
Overall, it was a good experience.
