The OG location. We frequent here and liberty based on where we are. The best. They have mastered the Trifecta: salsa, rice and margaritas. Our favorite Mexican by far. Food and service are always consistent.

My wife and I just got back in town and wanted to have a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Rancho Grande Never disappoints. The food is always good to excellent. But what really stands out for us is the service. The wait staff is exceptional! Always friendly personable and professional. Tonight we were gifted (holiday pun intended) with having a wonderful young lady named Shelby as our server, but no matter who takes care of you, you will not be disappointed. Hats off to the owners and happy holidays to all! Oh, and they honor us veterans. Show the proper identification for your discount.

Friend suggested this place for lunch so we stopped by. They were busy so the parking lot and inside was packed. We were still able to get a table with no wait.

Go number of options in the menu so we went with fajitas. I got steak and shrimp and my mom go just shrimp. Food came out quick and was steaming. Shrimp had good flavor but the steak was a little bland.

Prices were good so eating here won’t break the bank. If you are looking for a place to get some good Mexican food, give this place a shot.

They changed their salsa recently. It used to be “salsa” now it’s “sauce” and is just straight 70% water, 25% tomtao juice and 5% spices??? They have a really good deal on saturdays for half off cheese dip which is a really good deal. Unlike everywhere else, their cheese dip has mushrooms in it, so be wary if you have an allergy to them. They have a decent lunch deal 6.99 for rice, beans and two tacos. The cilantro lime rice was the most bland rice I have ever had in my life, no lime flavor not really any cilantro. The beans are decent. The beef is weird as it’s usually oddly clumped together for some reason? but it’s okay tasting!
Service is always hit or miss (very good or very terrible).
The parking is awful as the parking lot is way too small, do not go here at peak hours as you won’t find a space.

I used to have more photos of the food but I can’t find them now. This is a to go thing of salsa I got, you can tell its just straight water practically.
It used to be more fresh but the food overall is just very ehhh lately. When I first tried them in February they were easily the second best mexican resturaunt in town, now? Not even in the top 5.
Still, there are far worse places and the nachos are decent, not the best but decent.

I didn’t realize I would be double charged for flour tortillas and cheese sauce addition. When ordering two of something a la carte, expect any changes that are made to be twice the cost. This is something that I should have realized, but didn’t expect two enchiladas in cheese sauce to cost $18.40. As this was my mistake, I paid and left, but would advise the store to lower the price for cheese sauce and make a disclaimer that up charges are applied per item. I personally won’t be going back, but you should try it.

Edit to update response: If this was already a menu item, I’m dropping my service rating. I spent around 10 minutes looking for enchiladas in cheese sauce, as this is what I order every time and couldn’t find it on the menu. The waitress advised that I choose a different sauce after ordering the enchiladas. If that meal option was already in the menu, I wish she would have said something. A money grab I guess.

A staple in the community, everyone knows rancho. You can try to find something bad, but everything on the menu is a hit. The owner, management, and staff are great. Everyone seems to be on the same page, considering how busy they get from time to time. Don’t get me started on the margs… ooowweeee they’ll turn a sour day sweet. Will always recommend to anyone and their friends/family.

WOW! We tried Rancho Grande for the first time tonight. Place was packed for the Chiefs game. The service was fast and accurate. The food was good. The prices are moderate and you definitely get your money’s worth. Drinks, apps, entrees and dessert for just over 50 dollars! Despite the place being full our server was attentive and made sure we had refills and cleared the table as we finished. Great experience.

Finally tried after many years of friends saying it was so incredibly awesome. Well, the first time it was good. The second time around, not so good. I suppose it depends on what you order. Carne Asade tasted as if somebody spilled the salt shaker in there. Servers were distracted by “the game” and their own conversations. Generally, it is not a whole lot different from the Margarita’s variety of “Mexican” food, and far from the real deal. If you have to bury it in salt and cheese, it is probably not worth eating. 3 stars because it is the standard for the Midwest, though things are changing if you explore a little.

In order to properly evaluate this establishment our family sampled the cuisine on 3 different occasions. We determined this place is so amazing and delicious, and in the rotation of places, we invite friends for supper. Three different evenings we visited Ranch Grande Cantina with the time varying between 4-7. The earlier times were, of course, less busy, but the servers did a wonderful job ensuring the: drinks, chips, and dip remained filled, despite how busy or slow the evening was. Even when the evening started getting busy, they did not hurry us off or act rude when the children were the very last to finish eating well after the adults completed.

We will have to recommend multiple items: fish tacos (puffy, soft or crunchy), chicken enchiladas, cheesy nacho dip for the chips (always get a large for more than 2 people the small won’t last long), tamales and of course churros. We will certainly be going back again and look forward to the visit.

We did visit again in July 2023, and the kids have also now added creamy mac and cheese as well as the chicken fingers and fries to the list of things we recommend. Still great service and happy to give this establishment our business .
