My order took a bit longer than expected. It was told 15 minutes, but it took closer to 40. Normally this would put me off, but while waiting for my food several people kept engaging me to let me know my order was being prepared.
They did a great job of keeping me up to date on my order. I appreciate that, and that’s good customer service.
The food itself was fine. The quesadillas were tasty and had a nice crispiness on the outside. They were cheesy and gooey on the inside, perfect match.
The chips and salsa were pretty standard for a typical Mexican restaurant.
Nothing blew me away here. But nothing was bad either.
One thing to note is the restaurant is loud. There were a ton of people there and you could tell. I could barely hear myself think, let along have a conversation with someone. I was glad I was ordering takeout to say the least.
At under $14, I think this is a good value location.
The reasons I am not giving five stars is because the music was so loud I couldn’t not have a conversation with the people I was dining with nor hear the waitress well. Also the place could use a day of deep cleaning. The underside of the baby changing station is icky. The cracks and edges of the tables need to be scrubbed and cleaned more thoroughly. It didn’t stop me from wanting to go there again but I would not even eat a chip dropped on the table. I also have to think if this is what the public sees then what is it like where they can’t.
The Margaritas are cheap but they are the worst I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant.
I had my 10 lb little dog with me and they couldn’t even make him a grilled chicken breast without charging me $22.00 for it.
I don’t recommend this place but the drinks are cheap, after the first two it doesn’t matter anyway.
I left a 20 dollar tip because they finally managed something my dog would eat!
I was thinking I had to go to Arby’s!
But it would have been a lot cheaper for sure!
Shame on them for the lousy service too!
