The food was not what the reviews say. I literally pushed my plate away and I am NOT the type of person to not eat.
I was glad the host was cool enough to make me a neat drink. He couldn’t tell me what it was but I showed him a pic from another review and he agreed to make it.

This restaurant made these Texans happy! Who’d of thought in the middle of West Virginia? Chile Rellenos was excellent- they used authentic Queso Blanco and the masa in the tamale was so flavorful. Chips were good- ask for the spicy salsa and add to the table salsa roja which is really mild. Server was super friendly. Enjoyed everything about it!

I had the worst experience of my entire life when me my Dad and a business partner with his daughter went to this place, the guy sitting the customers wanted us to take a booth but I preferred a table since the place was totally empty I thought it was fine to take one of the long two tables so we would have more space for our food and snacks but the way this guy spoke to me literally was disrespectful and rude he said I can’t sit there because that table is for parties only and I would have to sit on the smaller table if I wanted to be served, I told him to show me where the party was but he continued arguing saying it didn’t matter he couldn’t let me sit there, I never ever visiting El Ranchito again in my life, I prefer going to a place where I wouldn’t be treated like this in front of my friends and family.
