Went on a Sunday morning. We had a group of 8. Coffee first for all of us but one, that took a long minute. Wait staff was very solemn (not super cranky, but almost). The eggs were luke warm, the 2 steaks our group ordered were rare (we asked for medium on both). The pork chili was very skimpy and blah. The green chili wasnt spicy at all. The hashbrowns were normal and the toast was toast.
On a good note, the one cup of coffee that we did manage to squeeze out of the waitress was good, no burnt taste to it. And one of our party said the biscuits with gravy were good (side note, she added a ton of extras to that order). Everyone else said their meals were (ok), no real flavor to any of them and nothing special. Maybe give dinner a go?

I normally love ordering your food, but please answer a question. If you are open till 8pm, how come you won’t take a to go order at 7:40pm? I didn’t want to come in and dine, just get a to go order and was told “oh, well their already cleaning up back there, sorry”.

This little hidden gem is an absolute MUST STOP destination for anyone in the north central Wyoming area! Food is full of flavor and comes out hot. Only thing warmer than the food is the warm hospitality provided my Alicia.

Literally smelled of sewer upon entering. Service was poor, food mediocre at best. This is foolishly the 3rd time I have been here, walked out once because we were ignored upon entering for almost 10 minutes. Second time left hungry, tonight wish I would have walked out again and left hungry again. ONLY Mexican restaurant I have EVER been to and had to pay for chips and salsa…Saturday night and there is good reason for being dead. Gave three trys, DONE.

Ranchito Café left much to be desired during our recent visit. The ambiance was inviting, but unfortunately, the food did not match the setting. We ordered three plates of carne asada, which cost $70. For that price, we expected a flavorful and satisfying meal. Instead, the dishes were remarkably bland, lacking any distinct flavors. The food was so tasteless that we had to rely heavily on salt and pepper to make it palatable. While the service was decent, the lack of seasoning in the food overshadowed our experience. We hope that the kitchen can improve on this aspect, as the potential for a great dining experience is there. Plus the bean dip was $3. But when you are in the middle of nowhere …might be easy to sell tasteless food

This place was very strange. It came recommended however we had a very poor experience. The entire dining room was empty and silent and echoed. There was no music and it was awkward. The service was lacking and the food was not great at all. The rice seemed like it was from a pre-made packet that you microwave.

I got take out for the chips, bean and salsa. I sure didn’t like how they threw the chips in with the beans and was barely any beans. Not sure if I’ll come back for a while after this or I’ll next time double check before I leave.

Fair pricing with good size options. The flavor was good but not authentic in my opinion. But I left satisfied and would come again.
