Wonderful location on the edge of town with a great view of the mountains as you’re driving up. Food and service were both excellent. The menu isn’t really large but there’s a good bit of variety on it for food plus several options for lemonades, juices, teas, etc. I went with the chicken fried steak sandwich and a side of fries plus strawberry lemonade. Unfortunately no real strawberries in the lemonade – just the syrup type, but it tasted very good and got prompt refills. Building has bowling alley and arcade in it too but the restaurant is separate so no need pay for those unless you want to go over to those activities.

Fabulous place to eat, bowl, play pool, and video games to boot. It’s really nice & clean and the staff was very good we waited a little longer than necessary. There were 2 tables after us and they got their food before us. Even nachos didn’t come out until we asked about them. People traveling like us eating as the view is fascinating. Overall, stop in cheeseburger or hamburger a good bet. Brother enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger and fries. Didn’t get to try the ice cream, but oh, the flavors looked inviting.

Long wait for food. Ordered double hamburger but only had one patty. Offered to correct but we didn’t have enough time.to wait after waiting 45 minutes for our food. Pretty view of the mountains.

This place is at the end of the main drag through Westcliffe in the same building as the bowling alley.
There is a video game room and full bar inside as well.
Food was good, service was great. Views from the windows while dinning. It wasn’t real busy on a Sunday afternoon.
Loads of parking evenbwithba trailer.

Typical bar food you would expect at a bowling alley. We had the nachos grande, fake cheese, bad beef and romaine lettuce?! We also are a house salad with blue cheese that was adequate. The restaurant is clean and well cared for. Don’t think we will be back.

Absolutely terrible customer service – myself and my 80 year old grandparents come in 1.5 hours before closing time, only to be met with an immediate, harsh “we’re not taking any more customers at this time” from the young woman working the front desk. If there are any owners/managers reading this to address it with their employees… she’s the one with multiple facial piercings.

I ask if they will be taking customers later, and got the same response… seems like her manager(?) chimed in to tell us the same thing. I explained there is nowhere else open, and I have 80 year old grandparents who are hungry and tired. Met with the same “we’re not taking any customers at this time” – they wouldn’t even make eye contact with me or offer any sort of explanation, reasoning, or what you would expect from someone working in customer service, like an “I’m sorry, we’re backed up and running low on ingredients so we have to close early. We’ll be back open tomorrow, come see us then!” ANYTHING other than what they offered.

It felt like there was some sort of happiness they had in sounding like a broken record: “we’re not taking any customers at this time” while avoiding any explanation, eye contact, or offering a solution of something else that might be open that we might not know about.

Anyways – in a town where jobs are scarce and a lot of your revenue comes from tourists, I’d try a different approach next time when you decide to close 1.5 hours early and treat people like you did. Won’t be back and won’t be recommending this place to anyone who is visiting.
