A classic supper club with a German twist, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, everything felt comforting, welcoming, and thoughtfully done.
They’re serving all the classics and doing them right. The bread was fantastic, and the relish tray and salad were both fresh and flavorful. I had the 6oz filet with a baked potato, and my husband ordered the pork schnitzel with spätzle and red kraut. We were truly blown away. You can taste that everything is made from scratch, which makes all the difference.
Save room for dessert; the bread pudding was incredible and the perfect way to end the meal.
A huge shoutout to Linda, our server, who made us feel like we were sitting down for a family dinner. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.
10/10 experience and absolutely worth the drive. We’ll be back.

This was exactly the supper club experience and vibe I was hoping it would be. They were very busy but our server was still very responsive.
They did run out of prime rib by ~630. One in our party did get a very good looking end piece. The steak is their Rudy’s signature 12 Oz fillet with a portobello cap to match.
Good relish tray and bread basket.
Supper club drinks that you’d expect-brandy or bourbon old fashioned and a few spins like the black cherry old fashioned. They had a good wine list as well. Our table had a few ice cream drinks to end the night as well.
Cash discount and check the bottom of their website – Google doesn’t always reflect days they might be closed.
They do take reservations though nothing on their website about that.

Extremely disappointing. They were out of several items to the point that every single person on our table had to pick second and third choices since our first and sometimes second choices were out of stock at 6:45pm when it was not particurly busy. The New York Strips (which we all ended up having to order due to limited stock of everything else we wanted) were average at best, with gristle and bland sauce and steak flavor. Service was good but it took ages to get our food. The only real positive was that all of the potato based sides were very good. Not at all worth the price you pay for a restaurant like that.

Very busy place on a Friday night. I can see why they are so busy. The food and service were excellent, even for a busy place. We were there for a birthday with 17 people. The staff was prompt and professional. The food came out quite quickly and was delicious. We will definitely return.

Exceeded our expectations!!!
My husband and I had a date night and had such a wonderful experience! Our server, Andrew, was FANTASTIC!! He was fun, friendly and knowledgeable! He answered all of our questions (as we’d never been here before) which led us to picking the perfect dishes! The food was so flavorful! We couldnt put out forks down and left feeling full. Andrew was also incredibly attentive, making sure we happy and our glasses stayed full.
We can’t wait to come back!!

The person working the front was absolutely wonderful. The service was spectacular. I had the pork snitzel which was bland. The ribs were cooked and the sauce was thrown on top. The steak came out rare which was inedible. The atmosphere I wanted to see German decor. Maybe a zicke zacke hoi hoi hoi chant once in a while. I got no German experience at all. This place is just a supper club with a KC hall experience.

I went here with my family and grandfather for the first time today. Will definitely be back. Rachel was very helpful and attentive. I’ve eaten steak on 3 continents and virtually every state in the union and I just had the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Bread pudding was phenomenal and the vegetable beef soup was better than grandma made. Sorry grandma…

The food wasn’t anything special and the prices were quite high. We ordered the prime ribe and schnitzel. Everything was just..ok. The house vainaigrette on salad was the best memorable part of our meal. Excellent service though.

A locals favorite place to eat. 4 of us.
I had the baby back ribs, coleslaw and hash browns. Hash browns were great, the rest was ok. Good size portions.
Everyone enjoyed the food.

First time EVER writing a negative review. I am against them but wow I am in disbelief over my experience. 30 + years in this industry and owner of a restaurant. A lukewarm welcome didn’t phase me- I get it. Handed a dinner menu and excited to try a specialty. Not told at that time when handed a menu we couldn’t eat there. Then told we couldn’t event though a regular was eating a meal next to us. Said he could because he is a regular and it was early. We are the ONLY PEOPLE in the entire room, the entire time! And way to make first -timers in the area feel welcome. Still empty when we left an hour later. I understand rules – but common sense and customer experience should prevail in this situation. We were respectful and they just stopped engaging. Incredibly disappointed. This is saying a lot in all our years of trying amazing family owned business in the metro. I am just sick. We battled ice covered roads and we were treated so poorly.
