Their signature 12 ounce filet looks impressive upon arrival. It’s $12 more than what’s showing on their web page, it’s $42. It was quite bland their sauce also was quite bland. I ordered a medium rare and it came that way. My wife’s steak was also bland. My son ordered the hamburger with fries. The hamburger was too spicy and the French fries were coated in salt.

I went here with my family and grandfather for the first time today. Will definitely be back. Rachel was very helpful and attentive. I’ve eaten steak on 3 continents and virtually every state in the union and I just had the best steak I’ve ever eaten. Stopped in for dinner. Special was Friday night Fish Fry. We didn’t have that, but ordered deep fried mushrooms. They were fresh, lightly battered and simply amazing. I had the pork schnitzel with red cabbage and spätzle. One of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. Wife ordered BBQ ribs and she was a fan. Bread pudding for desert was a perfect end to a perfect meal. We will be back!

We went here to celebrate a birthday. Reviews were good so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, no one liked their meals, 3 adults and 2 children. The steak just wasn’t good and the augratin potatoes cheese had an off flavor. My granddaughter didn’t even eat more than a bite of her hamburger and very few fries. My son ordered a fish sandwich and said it was all breading. He tried some of his kids meals but didn’t like anything. My husband said his was just ok, chicken and ribs. Very disappointing food-wise. Service was good and the atmosphere and cleanliness was very good.

Ask for Kat as your server, she was fabulous and headed to school to be a veterinarian. The steak and lobster was hands down amazing. The wild rice soup was great. The bartender in the bar was awesome and made us feel welcomed. She has been there for 30 years. Make sure you are punctual (we were on time and then some). We wish it wasn’t so rushed. We were in and out in an hour and fifteen minutes for 4 courses, and were expecting two plus hours for the experience. Get the Pink Squirl after dinner drink! Overall a great experience, but the host situation made it somewhat underwhelming.

This is a hidden gem. Wonderful food made from scratch by a true chef. Friendly staff. They have redone the interior and it feels much roomier than before, more wide open. Nice atmosphere. We just celebrated our 31st Anniversary there.
