Prices seemed fair. The place hidden inside a gas station had way more charm then expected. Mini-mart /bar/tacoria. We have lived here 15 yrs and never ventured in. Then the other day were told about how great it is.
I was disappointed in the jalapeño poppers. The picture looked great but the actual product was like a heavily battered 1/4 piece of jalapeño. They looked like a freezer item. 8 1/4s is only 2 jalapeños.
Then we got the carna asada super burrito. Also fair price. Mostly rice. Big. OK flavored. The green salsa was the great topper. The red salsa was supposedly Pico de gillo, but was just liquid. We didn’t get chips with white after we finished saw them stacked on the counter, so maybe if you asked.
No salsa bar, no frills.
The bacon wrapped hot dog meal that our neighbors had looked good.
We’ll try again. Especially if we’re ready for a drink with your meal, beer( large fridge with many brewery cans),tequila, kombucha, hortchata with a shot!!

Been coming here for years. In recent years it’s been very hit or miss. Tonight we got tacos, nachos, fried chicken, veg burrito. The veg burrito was filled with rotting avocado I had to pick out as much as I could. It was not good. Fried chicken is super good and crispy and has been one of the consistently good items. The nachos were the worst nachos I’ve ever had in my life with the most stale chips I’ve ever tasted. My son had ordered a taco with no onions just meat and cilantro and it came with onions. The meat in the tacos is always good but they frequently mess up our orders. We will not be going back anytime soon. Very disappointing.

Although the inside of my burrito was delicious, the moldy tortilla kinda ruined the whole thing. Additionally, when I presented it to the staff, they told me I was wrong because the package doesn’t expire until December. I’m sure they don’t know that wet conditions and porous breads don’t care about expiration dates, but the audacity to tell me I was wrong was not appreciated. The lighting was a little weird inside, but there were clearly blue spots on my tortilla. My wife is severely allergic to mold and I (like most humans) do not tolerate it well either; regardless, my lips got a little tingly and their salsa is not that spicy, but the anxiety for my wife (who likely ingested mold, too– I can’t imagine separate packages) was not a fun evening. She did point out the pen used to mark the burritos on the foil was blue, but I don’t like eating permanent marker either.) I wanted this to be a frequent visit spot, but I can get craft beer and then get a non moldy burrito in the future. What a disappointment.

Continuing my al pastor journey… we tried Ranch Milk’s al pastor burritos. They were solid, but unmemorable. Definitely not as good as Los Pericos.
I was bummed that they didn’t have a salsa bar. But they do have liquid CBD, which I didn’t even know was a thing. You can’t take it to-go, though.
The people there were really nice!

I have tried this place a few times every time giving it the benefit of the doubt..pero no not impressed, la carne en su jugo tastes like it has been sitting in the same jugo for weeks.. esta bien thick doesn’t feel like jugo? The only thing that I actually enjoy is the machaca burrito.

Ranch Milk Mexican Restaurant – A Hidden Gem for All-Day Breakfast & Micheladas
If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican spot with amazing food, great prices, and a relaxed vibe, Ranch Milk Mexican Restaurant is a must-visit! They serve breakfast all day, which is a huge plus, especially when you’re craving chilaquiles or huevos rancheros in the afternoon. Their portions are generous, the flavors are spot-on, and everything tastes homemade.
One of the highlights? Their micheladas! Perfectly spiced and refreshing, they pair well with just about anything on the menu. The atmosphere is casual but welcoming. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a laid-back meal, this place delivers every time.

Ordered from door dash because of the good reviews but boy were they wrong! Beans and rice were even horrible. I ate the 2 taqitos because I was hungry but they had no flavor. I put my own sour cream and salsa to doctor it up.

Tasty, well made, and ready Mexican Food, right here in Freedom CA. So much value for the low prices across the menu.
Prices are rediculously reasonable for the bay area and they list the size of burrito, for example, so you know what you are getting.
Plenty of beer and beverages on deck – as you can see!
A must visit for any traveler on a budget, OR, a foodie looking for a satisfying meal. Adding this to my list for when I visit Monterey / Watsonville area.
