Rustic is another word for ‘old and unkept.’ But overall this was an ok place to try once. Food came out hot and tasted reasonably good. (Huevos, bb pancakes.) Won’t likely be back.) It wouldn’t take much to clean up the place, put in a few bucks to make it more appealing.

It’s a beautiful thing after a hike to happen on a place that perfectly encapsulates that ethereal sense of Americana. To some it’s a dream best entertained in their minds alone but here it’s alive and well.
Simple American cafe food but done right made but happy cooks who sing happily as they add that bit of passion that makes the food all the better.

This is a classic diner but the food quality is a little higher and a lot less greasy in a good way. I tried the breakfast burrito and it came with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and a side of crispy but not greasy hash browns.

I personally love this place. This is one of my favorite places ever. We always come here for brunch when we can and I always get orange juice and the “two eggs, bacon and two pancakes” and they serve it with butter on the pancakes and maple syrup. I can even describe how good it is.
And this morning we had the best service ever. Felicia (I hope I spelled it right – who said started working there yesterday) was the nicest waitress I’ve ever met. She made sure we had everything we needed and was super kind and available in case we needed something. I’m really happy I can’t even describe it. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

This cafe is part of moragas history located at the moraga ranch. Great food, there chef does an exceptional job, and the wait staff is great very friendly. if you’re looking for an excellent breakfast or just for lunch I highly recommend The ranch House Cafe

I really wanted to like this place, I gave it 4 tries.
The food is below average, the prices are not.
The place is kinda run down, old school but run down.
The people who run it are nice but today I was sat there 15 minutes before getting a menu. Granted I got there when it opened at 8am but the folks were still setting up. A place should be ready to go when it opens. I won’t return.
