Nice small local bar in the middle of the woods. Food definitely did surprise us. It was much better than we thought it was going to be. The wings were nice and crispy but great sauce selections and the Caesar salad was amazing. Very friendly staff, that was very attentive. If you’re looking for bars in the area, this is definitely the one.

While the service was excellent and our waitress was wonderful, the food lacked in quality.
My boyfriend had the burger, and I had the Reuben sandwich. He never complains about a burger, but my sandwich and fries were not up to par. It was very obvious the corned beef was cold cuts you buy in a package at the grocery store, and the fries were frozen out of a bag. The sandwich was very thin also, lacking much (packaged) meat, with barely noticeable sauerkraut on it (I didn’t even taste it in the sandwich). I paid over $16 for this!!! I also got the $9 piece of “homemade” cake to take home. It was a regular vanilla cake you make at home, and the frosting was way too sweet.
Maybe the other food options there are good, but mine was sub-par, especially for what they are charging!

Great place to eat breakfast lunch or dinner. We learned that Val just took the place over about a month ago and all I can say is great job. Keep doing what you’re doing because our dinner was excellent. Highlight of the meal for me was my fried chicken. Very rarely do you get pan fried chicken that tastes like homemade. That is what we got and it was amazing. Our waitress Rochelle was super cool and very helpful. She was very attentive to us and our children. She made our family feel welcomed. She was kind, honest and is a true value to the restaurant. She instantly made us feel like we were old – new friends. Tasty food and cold beer is what you will find at the Ranch House. When we return to Beach Lake Val’s Ranch House will be our first stop.

My Mom and I ate here last night. The food was amazing had a Reuben Rider which is turkey, swiss cheese and pickled red cabbage on toasted rye had a side of thousand Island dressing. Really enjoyed it it was something different. Mom had a grilled hamburger and mashed potatoes. Great food great choices I recommend everybody try it. Will be going back.

Bottom line here is the old lady that works behind the bar is meaner than a junkyard dog. Lol She’s probably been doing this way too long. Flat soda and bad attitudes. Just keep driving to the next one and save yourself the trouble. The people sitting on my side of the bar were all nice though.

I had mozzarella sticks and a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. The burger was perfect! I asked for rare and it was rare. I will definitely go back. Radio Replay was there that night. The music was great if a little loud.
