A hidden jem. I love their old school decor. They’ve been here since 1945. It’s always fun to go into an old school diner. I was in the mood for liver and onions and googled it. It did not disappoint! The wife wanted breakfast and she got a really big and tasty breakfast! I’m going to Earmark this as I don’t come to Victoria often but when I do, I want to come here!

My husband and I visited for the first time it was a pleasant experience. Our breakfast portions were large. I had eggs, pork chops, and hashbrowns with pancakes. My husband had eggs, chicken fried steak with hashbrowns.

We entered the busy restaurant during lunch and had a wonderful experience.
Our super-charged and dynamic waitress, Jennifer, was incredible in taking care of all of customers. She ensured everyone’s cups were filled and was literately Jennifer (Johnny) on the Spot. She definitely could use a raise for her outstanding performance.
We had the hamburger steak smothered with gravy onions and loaded baked potato. We also did get a one-pass at the Salad bar and was very impressed too. The other meal was the daily Tuesday Special, Beef with Noodles. The Celery Soup was delicious too. Came in hungry and left Full. It was amazing how fast the food came out. Would definitely visit it again.
Bathrooms were Very Clean!

We stopped here and had a great meal. The omelette was tasty, waffle was nice and crisp and the biscuits were excellent. We were served with a smile. Great local place with comfort food. We may be back on our next trek through Victoria, Tx.

Great food and service. Varied menu with daily specials. Good home cooking served in a comfortable atmosphere. The house made chicken dumpling soup was delicious as was the chicken salad sandwich. We have been there for breakfast in the past and it was also very good. Prices are definitely affordable. Great place to stop if you are passing through Victoria! Will definitely be back!

The creamer on the table was not little cups of half and half, but the creamer made with oils. Same with the little tubs of butter, they were margarine.
The breakfast would have been much better with half and half and butter.
