Bring Your Family Somewhere Else (Unless You Like Disappointment With a Side of Squeeze-Pack Mayo)

We’ve been to the Fraser Ram’s Horn a few times over the years, and I don’t know what happened to this place, but wow… the food quality has fallen off a cliff.

The restaurant looks nice, the waitress was awesome, but the food? Trash. I ordered the classic chicken sub and they hit me with what looked like leftover chicken strips from another meal. Pretty sure that wasn’t the “classic” part they were going for. And the prices? You’d think Gordon Ramsay was in the kitchen with how overpriced it’s gotten—but spoiler alert, he’s not.

Even the little details made no sense—our sour cream came in a squeeze packet like we were at a gas station, and I had to ask for cold mayo because apparently room-temp condiments are a thing now? What are we even doing, Ram’s Horn?

We walked in exhausted, with a few bucks in our pocket, hoping for a sit-down meal that wasn’t fast food—and honestly, I would’ve been more satisfied grabbing a frozen dinner from the dollar store.

Save your money, take your family somewhere else. Friendly staff can’t make up for food this disappointing.

Felt like a homey kind of place warm comfort food and warm inside from the cold outside.

Yesterday I went to Ram’s Horn in Fraser for the first time with my husband. I was hosting a fundraiser with my students and I was really impressed with the service! The staff was so friendly that it felt like a family gathering! Our food was delicious as well. We ordered potato skins, stuffed pepper soup, a chicken pita wrap and a hog sandwich-needless to say we had lots of leftovers 🙂 Thank you so much and we will be back!!

The last few times I was there the quality of food was not the greatest. But we decided to give it one more shot! The waitresses are awesome but their food and cooks are something to be desired! Today, I looked at the menu and the hamburger that was an imitation “big boy” looked really good, so I ordered that. It was not edible, it was burnt and tasted like whopper meat. My friend got a grilled
Chicken salad and she could barely eat it due to the amount of white onions in it. She said it was tasteless, the tomatoes were not ripened and it consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and way too many onions! The ranch was also tasteless! I ordered a piece of pumpkin pie to go and I just tried that and that was not so tasty either! Definitely not worth the money! $5 a piece! Three strikes -you’re out! Will not go back! $37 bill for food that went to the dogs! We both got waters! That’s an expensive meal that was big worth it at all!

My husband used to order from here all the time, however the last two time he came here they messed up the order. We no longer go to this location. Went to another one and they couldn’t get it right either.

I feel that maybe they should stop tying the bags shut so we can check the orders before we leave. Also those of us with arthritis can’t untie the bags. It was a simple order of 1fried fish and 1 baked fish instead we got 2 fried dinners which I can’t have also they forgot the coleslaw one time. The tying of the bags is the main problem. My husband drove a ways to get it.

It’s an American diner that does diner food. They don’t make anything, they buy it from a supplier and “cook” it.
Is it bad? No. Not at all. Have you been to one a million times? Yes. And somehow, that kind of ok.

Service was amazing…. which is what a place like this HAS to have.

Great little diner with delicious coffee and affordable delicious food. The servings were great and my server was also excellent. It wasn’t very busy on a weekday evening and I was seated and served very quickly. The staff was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean and well maintained. I will certainly be back.

My girlfriend and I went here on Christmas Eve. We knew a family that was eating there. We ended up paying for their meal. My mother in law later found out they still had to pay for their meal. Bill was $80 we gave a $20 tip. That’s 25% tip on the bill. Per shame can’t even be nice during the holidays anymore.

We visited here, after a funeral service (it was late on a Sunday), and the service was remarkable! Our waitress was so polite, and exceptional at what she did. We had around 15 of us all together, and we were served promptly. The food was good enough, I had the Cobb salad and it was about a 7/10 (the turkey on it was very dry, and the bacon in it was shredded, like from a bag that you’d get at the store (Hormel). All in all, not bad overall.
