In California working at Edwards AFB for 3 weeks. The long drive from the base back to my hotel in Lancaster takes a minute. Asked a worker on base where I can get some good Mexican food. I am from Cali, born here, lived here for 29 years before leaving in 2021 and now livs in Idaho. I travel all over the country for work. Been to all 50 states and most places the majority of Americans never go.Mexican food elsewhere is not been the same. Was recommended this place and stopped in for a to go order. FRIED BURRITO CARNE ASADA with cheese inside, pico, sour cream, guac, rice and beans. Cup of salsa and fresh made and warm tortilla chips and a quesadilla. Side salad. I forgot how big portions are when buying Mexican food. Order was put in a box and aluminum containers with lids for me. I ate ALL the tortilla chips on the way back to my hotel. Got to my room, opened my container of piping hot Mexican goodness. The carne asada was seasoned perfect, tender hot, tortilla wrapped tight, sour cream and guac. I dumped the pico on top and went to town. I DIDNT EAT LUNCH OK!. The rice and beans complimented every part of that burrito. Starting litterally drinking the salsa. Salad got no love. I forgot about my quesadilla. Could not fit it. It looked good but I was full. Washed it all down with a Horchata. Damn good food and will recommend to my other team mates that visit Edwards AFB

Best Mexican food place in Rosamond great service fast delivery and they have happy hour every day and a bar area really tasty chips and salsa at no extra charge even take out orders have been up to par. Thank you guys and keep serving the community! Oh and try the soups on weekends guys menudo and pozole!!

A local Rosamond resident here, this is the best Mexican restaurant in town. The staff is very friendly, the drinks taste amazing, and the food is authentic. Chips and salsa with your order (unlimited), I think they have the best Salsa, always order some to take home! It’s not too spicy, real ingredients and doesn’t taste like they just took it out of a jar.

My carne asada meat was pink (which I did not ask for. Cause I don’t like it) and some parts it was a little dry and hard to chew. They don’t have aguas frescas. Only one they do have is agua horchata and I’ve had better. The rice and beans were good. I’m not sure if I’ll come back. It’s really pricey.

The ONLY reason im giving 2 stars is because the food was good. From start to finish the service was ATROCIOUS. I kid you not buckle up kids this is a doozy.
Let’s recap
1) drinks: what we ordered: a blue alcoholic drink and a soda / what he brings us : one alcoholic drink and a margarita?
2) appetizer: we didn’t even order any and he tried to give us two salads that were not ours ( I thought my plate came with one but he never asked about dressing when he took the food order so I assumed not when I asked if my plate did come with a salad he just gave me the salad ? )
3) food: he also somehow managed to butcher our food order too
ANOTHER Waitress had to fix it and by the time my friends food came I was done eating
4) dessert thank god another waiter took this order and it came out appropriately although I don’t know how you would screw up flan
5) the check: 5 mins after he brought them he was trying to shoo us out of our table like picking up thugs and trying to get us to leave ?
I expressed my disappointment in the service with one of the wait staff but she literally shrugged and seemed like she could care less and said he was having an “off day” …. And she walked away
The manger was going table to table asking about people dining experiences but he never came over to us or I would have shared my concern with him.
Unfortunately will not be returning here and cannot recommend this establishment to others based on my experiences tonight.

Not a fan. The flautas are decent but that’s about it. The food is very bland. The albóndiga soup is bland. The flan was disgusting. The service is mediocre, apparently nobody speaks Spanish at this Mexican restaurant lol
