This place is always a vibe. They are packed on just about any given day. That how you know they do good business. My family and I have been coming to this location for years. Great food period.

Came to Ramona’s with my mom and sister—a nostalgic visit to a staple from our childhood. We ordered the beef taquitos, two beef and red burritos (wet), a chicken and green burrito, and an order of churros.
Unfortunately, the order came out wrong:
One of the beef burritos wasn’t wet as requested
My chicken burrito came with red chile instead of green
And sadly, there was barely any chicken—it felt more like a rice burrito
That said, the flavor was still there.
The beef burritos were perfect, the taquitos to die for, and the churros were crunchy and sweet—just like I remember.
The establishment was clean with outdoor seating, and despite the crowd, our food was ready in about 10 minutes. We would have gladly waited 20 to get the order corrected, but the nostalgia really made up for the mix-ups.
Will definitely be back—just double-checking the order next time!

Every time I get Ramona’s I order online. I rarely go to the store and place my order. It’s always packed. Especially first thing in the morning. Plus when you order online you get points towards money off of your order.

My sister was visiting from New York. I braved the traffic going down the hill to Los Angeles, taking her to see our brother, who’d just had surgery. She wanted Ramona’s. We went to the one on 139th and Western Ave. The wait wasn’t so bad compared to other times. We spent $73 on 4 burritos, and a combo plate! One burrito added lettuce and tomatos, at .75 cents each!, cheese, .45 cents per burrito. The burritos were simple, red chile and cheese, that’s it $15 each! Maaaan! The burritos were adequately made and tasted good.

Ramonas is the neighborhood favorite
The beef is always tender.
The sauce is
Always on point And that beef and potato burrito was the best. The Walkup service counter could use a little upgrade, but overall great food great environment, if you’re not scared of the hood.

Amazing food, industrial ambiance. Buy, wait, carry out. Nice crowd when I was there – multi-generational, all sorts of people that came for excellent food, many from long distances. Worth the trip, worth the wait, worth the money.

I have ate at this restaurant for years. Over the 10 plus years the service has changed. The food have never changed. Food service line needs to improve. Other than that, I’ll continue to eat there and enjoy the food.
