The Italian absolute garbage . The bread was so chewy my jaw was tired on the first half. One piece of meat per meat and the provolone over powered the whole thing. Never mind the price for a 7 inch sub with nothing in it. I don’t get the reviews, was so hyped and left very disappointed.

These massive sandwiches are made from such high quality and delicious ingredients! It’s a small shop with 2 high tops and some benches outside so it’s mainly a takeaway place. The aesthetic is great, sandwiches are even better, and in this area of Portland the perfect way to start your day is ordering a sandwich and enjoying a coffee nearby.

Salad? Amazing. Sandwiches? Even better. Grab one to split or a couple of them and sit on the eastern prom and watch the world go by. Love this place, it’s definitely worth every penny. Invest in places where the employees get to know your name and are happy to see you (and are probably treated right!)!

Being from Philadelphia, I thought it was interesting to see the word hoagie up in Maine. Typically sub or hero is used. Got the Italian of course and it was excellent. I believe they put some sort of olive spread on it which made it unique. Not the hoagie I am used to but the quality of the meat and bread were deserving of that designation. Small dining area with a few seats. Prices are higher but warranted. Google reviews are correct. This place is worth the trip.

Got a bacon egg and cheese and overall it’s decent, the bacon is good and they put fluffy scrambled eggs on it. However it’s $16 w/o tip so probably won’t go again for that price.

Apollo sandwich was excellent, straightforward service, quick turnaround. There’s a table and counter to eat in, but other than that, space is limited. Would return, highly recommend.

Ramona’s makes one of the best breakfast sandwiches around and the rest of their menu is equally as strong. Their service is great and the storefront has a fantastic variety of extras to add on to your order. These folks support and care for their community, all while serving up delicious food!

Been here a few times and was disappointed with our sandwiches today.. The subs were smaller than before and for the price point, not worth it especially when we went the first time and the sandwiches were much bigger. My roasted pork wasn’t very flavorful. Besides that, cool spot and nice folks.
