I just visited for first time and HELLO! What a great place to put on the repeat. Had an interview down the street and like to stop locally at places that catch my eye. Not chains. This place is something. I don’t know if they bake their own bread or buy from local bakery but what an introduction! I went with a specialty sandwich, Turkey Ram Jam, with meat, cheddar, giardiniera, bacon pepper jam, crispy onion straws and mayo on sourdough. This lived up to my expectations. Great balance of flavors and can’t wait to try everything else. Even given a chocolate shake taste when I said it was my initial visit. Super friendly and efficient. All kinds of options for anyone. They brag the best oven baked subs and I’m in on it!
Update: Second visit may have been better. Went with the Ultimate Sawhorse. Italian beef, cheddar, bacon and mild horseradish. Topped with tomato and seasoning on pretzel roll. So damn good!

Tried Rammy’s today. The food was very good. I had the Radical Italian Beef. The sandwich wasn’t very big, but a very delicious sandwich. The staff was extremely pleasant. Dining room was spotless. Biggest disappointment was the pricing. $13.95 for the sandwich isn’t that big of a deal, but $3.05 for a 21oz fountain drink and then $2.75 for a bag of chips on top of that? Spending over $24.00 for that just is not worth it. Sure, the sandwich was good, but not worth that kind of money if I want to go out for lunch. Fatt Mustard is in the same price range and you get way more food for your money.

Rammy was behind the counter. I asked for their best sandwich and he made #13 Rammy’s Radical Italian Beef! This sandwich is exceptional! Best I have enjoyed around the entire chicago area! Go there and be adventurous around the menu there are many Amazing choices!

Wish I tell you how the food tasted, but since I specifically asked for no lettuce since I’m allergic to ragweed, below picture shows how well the staff listed to customer needs. Looks like a nice and hip place, socks I’ll never go back after this experiance.

First time here and loved it! It’s an absolute must try. They have a huge menu with so many great options to choose from. Lunchtime is busy the line goes out the door, so make sure you come in early. They have been around for 27+ years and they are doing great ! I hope they open more stores . The restaurant has a nice welcoming vibe and has enough seating area. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. They also have shakes but the machine was not working was not able to try that.

Service is always polite, quick, and easy! THIS PLACE IS AWSOME! From the food to the friendly neighborhood environment that this place brings, it’s definitely a spot everyone needs to try or know about (if they haven’t already). I’ve had the Two by Four sandwich and the Classic Chicken Wrap and both were extremely delicious and filling. Also don’t forget to try their homemade sides and desserts that you can openly see them make as they are preparing your sandwich. Only thing is that there is no online ordering system which you can say adds to the authenticity of the neighborhood place.

Just tried the #6 Italian Beef and #21 Chicken Parmesan—both were incredible! The Italian Beef was perfectly seasoned and juicy, while the Chicken Parmesan was tender and generously topped with a rich, flavorful marinara sauce that was absolutely divine. The portion sizes were just right, and the sandwiches were packed with flavor. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying meal!

By far one of my favorite sandwich places throughout the Chicagoland area my job requires me to drive a lot throughout the city of Chicago as well as the suburbs hands down my favorite. I will recommend this to anybody and everybody everything that I’ve tried on this menu (5 different sandwiches) you cannot lose everything is delicious plus their mac salad to die for absolutely delicious the staff hands down the nicest people I’ve ever met. They know how to take a joke and they know how to give a joke. They are absolutely awesome highly recommended. Like I said before can’t lose here
