On my last visit I complained about the salsa (hot sauce) as often times it came spoiled when I ordered to-go. Instead of apologizing, the man in charge handed me the sauces and told me “take a look to see if they were ok this time” . In short, I gave this place many chances and they seem no to care about providing good impression through having good costumer service. Don’t buy here if you want to keep yourself healthy.

$4 tacos are now the norm. Heck no to this place! These are at best $1 tacos on Tues! I got caught in the previous reviews saying how large the portions are — not tacos! I may try it again, for a burrito or huaraches or something, def NOT for tacos! I’m still so hungry!

BEWARE!! Spend your money somewhere else. I love supporting small businesses but this place was overall the worse in every category. The prices are so high!! You have to pay extra for everything. No physical menus only a screen that moves way too fast that you can barely read what’s on it. The guy working there has a very bad attitude and not friendly at all. The quesadilla with steak was $15+. For that price I would expect to at least have it taste good – the meat was dry and tasted old/reheated. There’s no toilet paper or towels in the bathroom and the shop looks like it’s violating every health rule. OVERPRICED AND BAD QUALITY FOOD!

This place is the truth! True flavors, great portion size and wonderful ambiance. This was my 1st time, had a steak burrito. There a lots of places that CAN’T cook steak right, this isn’t one of them! Tender and flavorful ( yes, I keep referring to flavor!) The salsa verde has a little kick to it, perfect! Look I know there are a lot of Mexican places in Elgin….so I don’t say this lightly. Life. Changing. Quesadillas. Tacos were great too, but that quesadilla was something else, unbelievably tasty, and huge. Ask for all three salsas! Staff was also super nice and the place is cute!

One of the best huaraches ever!! What I like the most is the ratio of ingredients and the tortilla. Even though the huarache is big the tortilla is thin enough that you can eat all! The sauce is fresh and flavorful!!!

Wait time was way too long. There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant. Was there 40 minutes waiting for 4 tacos with rice and beans. The beans were burnt perhaps scraped from the bottom of the pot. Idk how u can burn refried beans. The rice was mushy like mashed potatoes. Won’t be going back
