This place is so delicious!!
I ordered the fish tacos. My husband ordered the wet burrito. They are very good! The food service was fast, friendly and welcoming. They were patient with me speaking Spanish. Food reminded me of SoCal which I appreciate. We didn’t order any alcoholic beverages but the bar looked stocked and well lit. I highly recommend you try them out for yourself. They advised Karaoke on Fridays & Saturdays, so we are definitely going back.

Don’t trust their hours. I’ve tried to go here multiple times while commuting between Portland and Seattle (seeing the Chile Relleno burrito on the menu). Hours on Google maps and their website have always said they are open. This is my 3rd attempt going and they have been closed in their stated business hours. I’ve never had the chance to eat here.
Very frustrating to get off the freeway, park, and then find the restaurant closed. Total waste of time.

I’m not sure if its just a completely different style from what in used to, but nothing that either my wife nor I had tasted like anything it resembled, even the queso dip was oily, lumpy and separating. Friendly service, decent atmosphere and probably still worth a shot if you enjoy SW-style food.

I’ve been to all of the Ramirez restaurants many times in Olympia and Tumwater.
This was my first visit to the newest location, and definitely my last visit.
Cold, sterile environment, terrible music videos on a big screen and to add insult on top of insult, sub-par food. The tamales were cold and tastelessness, 95% masa and 5% pork.
Cold rice, cold beans… horrible, absolutely horrible!
The waitress (Rosa) was delightful and sincerely apologetic, otherwise ONE STAR

This is definitely the best Mexican food in Thurston county, and I’d accept a wager on Western Washington. With this new location downtown on 4th featuring a full menu, bar, and late night hours right across from Jake’s, downtown Olympia now has unfettered access to the same authentic eats that the locals in Tumwater and the Westside have been hogging to themselves.
I recommend the Wet Burrito, loaded quesadilla, or carnitas tacos! The refried beans also make the best bean dip!!
Oh, and it’s about to be the best sports bar in Olympia too, offering great prices on drinks, large portions of delicious food, and plenty of screens for viewing!

Love Ramirez! It used to be pretty difficult to find consistant Mexican food in Olympia. Their crunchy burritos and salsas are frickin’ delicious. They’ll even sub-in nopales for meat if you ask. Their location in Tumwater is the best stocked mercado around.
