Recommend: karaage
Ok: burnt garlic ramen, miso crab ramen

The noodles in the ramen were quite soggy and over cooked, though the portion of the noodles was quite large. The flavors in the broth were nice but the broth was a bit thin.

I guess they use shrimp shells to flavor the miso crab broth but it was pretty unpleasant to pull out the shrimp shells while eating. The burnt garlic had a very strong burnt taste and garlic taste, so it’s definitely as advertised, but it was a little sad not to get to enjoy the tonkotsu broth flavors.

The crab on the miso crab ramen was a nice portion but it was cold like they had just pulled it from the fridge and put it on top. The eggs looked like the staff had a lot of problems shelling the eggs.

The karaage (fried chicken appetizer) however was nice and crisp and juicy.

Not a terrible showing for being in a mall, but would probably not find this experience compelling enough to return to this location.

Best ramen in the US, hands down!
The rich tonkotsu and the crab miso ramen had incredible umami! The soft-boiled egg was also perfect.
People who don’t eat ramen here are missing out on life.
My request is that I’d like to eat the tonkotsu ramen with beni-shoga (red pickled ginger) on top. Are there any toppings available?

Previously, I visited one of their older, longstanding locations in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and I have consistently enjoyed their ramen, which is meticulously crafted with love and reverence for the culinary tradition that has been passed down through generations. Ramen Nagomi in Quakerbridge Mall is no exception to this culinary excellence, which I have consistently experienced since nearly a decade ago. I can now relive that experience at this mall and share it with others who are fortunate enough to encounter its unassuming presence!

On this occasion, my fiancé and I decided to order two appetizers: fried edamame and tofu nuggets, accompanied by karaage (fried chicken in Japanese style). The fried edamame and tofu nuggets were an excellent appetizer, not overly flavorful but satisfying and filling. The chicken karaage was exceptionally juicy, as karaage should always be. We were very pleased with the quality of the appetizers.

The main entrée was the Miso Crab Ramen, which featured a rich broth with an abundance of crab meat and pork chashu. The broth possessed a deep, flavorful profile that embodied both the traditional ramen broth and the crab and seafood umami that harmoniously blended to create a delectable and robust taste. The texture of the dish was satisfying and evocative of the crab used in its creation, elevating it to a culinary masterpiece. Although one of the more expensive dishes on the menu, being a crab dish, I decided to indulge and recommend it to you as well.

I was thoroughly impressed with the service. The waitress was attentive and courteous, and the chef was visible through the window diligently preparing each order with enthusiasm. The overall dining experience was exceptional, and I highly recommend Ramen Nagomi to anyone seeking a memorable ramen meal beyond the standard fare offered at the food court.

If you happen to be in the vicinity of Quakerbridge Mall and craving something superior to the typical mall fare, please do not overlook Ramen Nagomi. Allow Ramen Nagomi to tantalize your senses as it has for me for nearly a decade!

Edited 2 years go . Waiter sat down and watched videos on his phone during service. Unacceptable!

I finally tried the food and was impressed. A bit different than expected. I should have took a pic before biting into it but the crab miso was very flavorful. Rich broth. Extra noodles didn’t really work with the same portion soup.

Ramen Nagomi is a great spot for lunch or dinner. They have the best spicy miso ramen around. Appetizers were also tasty. Service is great. Not as good as the original, but still awesome.

Loved that this ramen shop serves thin noodles. Tonkotsu Broth and char siu were both flavorful. The don was good as well. Only wish would be that they served bao with the sliced char siu instead of minced.

It hit the spot after not having ramen for awhile, but was not exactly the same as the New Brunswick location. However, I do recommend it.

Service was exceptional, which is always a plus. Hope it thrives at this location!

As a vegetarian, I’m super impressed by the vegetarian option! They have more then one options for vegetarian ramen (where most ramen shops just has one lol), and even some vegetarian appetizers(gyoza, bao, etc)!
We were given the flexibility to do half pork n half vegetable for the gyoza order with no extra charge, super happy!!!
We had the spicy miso ramen in vegetarian & non-vegetarian versions, the portion and toppings of the bowls were impressive! My only complaint is the broth is a lil light/ watery for me and could be more flavorful, but overall it was an enjoyable dining experience!
