Reviews
One big plus is that for an extra $7.95, you can add a California roll, which was also surprisingly good and paired well with the ramen.
Definitely a place I would recommend.
Next up was the highly-anticipated Habanero Miso Ramen bowl. This is where Ramen Mura truly shines! Be warned: this ramen is very spicy! It’s intensely hot, but the flavor is exceptionally good. The depth of the broth is impressive, and you can distinctly taste the savory richness of peanut sauce blending with the miso and habanero. The ramen itself was decent, but that unique, spicy-nutty flavor combination is what makes the bowl memorable and worth ordering. You definitely taste the peanut sauce, and the heat level delivers.
While the food had its highs (the ramen!) and its consistency (the sushi), the overall atmosphere was impacted by the service, which felt a little mid-tier. It wasn’t poor, but it lacked the attentiveness that turns a good meal into a great experience.
Overall, I recommend Ramen Mura for those seeking an aggressively spicy ramen with a unique, delicious twist. Just set your expectations for the service accordingly
But we got some rolls, which to be frank were not only good but they were also affordable for the size you get.
Please give this place a try.
Also, I didn’t try the ramen, so I might need to do that the next time I come and visit.
I’ve NEVER been to a ramen spot that forced you to eat either pork, or vegan. We were SO EXCITED to eat here, and it was an INCREDIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT. If you want ramen but don’t eat pork, and don’t like tofu as your only protein option, do NOT come here.
The staff are always friendly and the quality of the food is very consistent.
My wife picked up the vegan yasai ramen which is a ginger mushroom broth base, while I ordered the standard spicy tonkotsu.
If you come during lunch their $1 special is an incredible deal, if you come after lunch then their other add on deals are still definitely worth it!
We shared an additional rainbow roll which was an assortment of their salmon, tuna and or yellow tail with a crab combination. A great deal and option if you wanted to try all their fish.
The ambiance is very nice and easy going, a small quaint space with lines and tables moving quickly even if you’re outside waiting. Definitely a worth while spot if you’re looking for sushi or ramen!
