Overall, everything was very good. The restaurant was very clean, the kitchen is visible, and you can clearly see that it is well organized and extremely clean, which always creates a lot of confidence.
The only thing I would improve is the customer service. I feel that in Vienna it is not always easy to find truly great customer service, and I believe this should be the biggest challenge for restaurants, to elevate the service level so it matches the quality of the food.
Venue is small and cozy with bar counter and table seatings.
I suggest to book in advance and check on food options beforehand
Ramen is fusion and not authentic jap but still tastes decent 🙂 Worth going if you need your jap food craving fix !
The gyujan ramen also was good but not as much as the spicy one. more like a 4/ 4.5 stars, for me.
Overall my bf and I liked the food a lot.
The staff was also super nice.
– make a reservation it gets really packed
– wife surprised by the truffle ramen. Not too much truffle which was good just a hint
– they could split a bowl into two for 2 kids to share
– I had the spicy + added spicy which had good heat bless them for the effort
Could use more noodles but I was hungry maybe just me
Soup stock in general very solid for both tonkatsu & shoyu base
UK lad serving us was great
Not much space so book or rock up early
The service was excellent! Everyone was attentive without hovering, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly. You can tell they care about the experience as much as the food.
Now for the ramen… incredible! The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty, and the noodles had just the right amount of chew. You can tell everything is made with care. The toppings were fresh, balanced, and portioned perfectly so you get a bit of everything in each bite. I got the truffle and it was amazing!
We also tried the matcha, which was smooth and earthy with a nice sweetness, and the matcha tiramisu, which might’ve been the surprise favorite. It was light, creamy, and just the right amount of matcha flavor without being overpowering. It wasn’t too sweet either, so you don’t feel too guilty eating dessert.
Overall, this place nails both the food and the vibe. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to, whether for a cozy dinner or to show off a good local spot to friends.
my friend took Don Buri- Crispy Chicken Don, 14,5€
Desert- Yuzu Musukeki, 6.5€ was ok, cheesy, puddinggy, lemony, and the base was crumbly keksy, 🙂 the sauce was out of raspberry (not my fav) but was a good combination in all. 🙂
I can say that the ramen was heavenly !!! So tasty!! And the pork pieces so tender that I could bite them with my lips not teeth , eggs no comment! Everything was perfect . I recommend the place 100% for Ramen lovers!!
