Devine. Came back from a trip to Japan looking for the best ramen in the Twin Cities and this is it. The staff are very friendly and the vibe is great too.

What a delicious place! The best part? I loved that there were a couple ways to order. You can order at the front or at the table by scanning the QR code. We ordered a salmon onigiri, pot stickers and a couple other dishes. We absolutely loved everything! Our dishes came out fast and were nice and hot. Service was kind. The worst part? Nothing much to add. Parking is street parking and we found a spot pretty easy on a Sunday afternoon. Almost all of the tables were out of napkins but they were quick to restock that. Overall, we are coming back and love that it’s right next to a spot where we can get treats too.

I ordered takeout last weekend and tried two different types of ramen (tonkotsu and shoyu). I liked the broth of the tonkotsu a lot but the noodles for both were awful. They seemed uncooked/raw to the point where they were inedible. The tasted like a blob of flour paste when I tried eating them with the broth. I also substituted chicken for the pork in the shoyu ramen and was disappointed that it was an extra $3.00. All in all, not worth the $40! I’m glad others like it but definitely not for me.

Tonkotsu ramen had tender pork, rich and flavorful broth, and perfectly chewy noodles. Chicken karaage was fantastic — definitely a sleeper hit. Vibes inside the restaurant are great with cool artwork and photos on the walls. I would definitely return to Ramen Kazama!

The best ramen in Minneapolis, i am willing to fight on that fact, whenever friends tell me they haven’t had good ramen before i take them here and only 1 person hasn’t loved it so far, Leo is really picky tho. The rest do in fact love it.

Dreaming about their ramen lately. Must go back soon. I’m a simple eater, but my friends like more complex ramen. We’re all happy with options here. My simple dish is made to perfection and I’m grateful for it.

Update: Dined in recently and it exceeded the delivery experience! The atmosphere was homey, the service was friendly, and both the ramen and karaage were scrumptious.

Ordered takeout and was very impressed with the service, quality, and taste. Everything was neatly packaged. The chicken karaage was especially crispy and flavorful. It was fun to play chef and boil our own noodles. The ramen turned out great per their included instructions. I highly recommend the tonkotsu (rich pork broth) and torishio (chicken broth). Can’t wait to dine in person when permitted!

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. Everything I’ve tried over the years is very delicious. The atmosphere and music are great. The prices are reasonable. I would eat here every day if I could.
