Love their ramen, meat is tender and flavorful as well as their broths. Love them in WC and so happy they’re in Emeryville now! Ask for the house made hot paste. So good!

One of a small handful of state-side ramen experiences that’s equaled some of the ramen bowls I’ve enjoyed in Japan. The yuzu ramen is the stand-out.

I brought my discerning professional chef friend here and when he tasted the yuzu broth, he immediately ordered a bowl from Hiroshi, then boxed up the meal he already had in front of him from another stall.

But maybe the clearest indication of Hiroshi Ramen’s visit-worthiness is the fact that it has unseated Super Duper Birger as my 11yr old son’s gold standard go-to restaurant.

The 1-3 star reviews here have me thinking there really should be a qualifications exam before you’re aloud to rate a restaurant on these platforms.

Just go.

Ever since Shiba Ramen is closed, I had hard time to find a go to place for Ramen around that area.
I am glad that Ramen Hiroshi is here! I have tried SF one and really like it so I am glad we have one in Emeryville.

The only thing I hope they could do better is to make the broth much warmer. Usually ramen should come with very hot broth so that when you finish the noodles, broth will not become cold. (partially because most of their topping are cold so that makes soup even colder)
I understand that in the food court, having such hot broth in crowd place with self-service style may not be a good idea due to safety reason but I’d hope that they could proactively offer this as an option.

Great Ramen! I’ve made Tonkotsu ramen from scratch and love ramen and Japanese food, and eat it often. This place is fantastic, it may not be in contention for best quality ramen in the east bay, but it’s actually very reasonably priced, especially for the Public Market.

The ramen here is phenomenal! I’m talking Japan-level soup quality. There are few choice options for ramen in the East Bay, and Ramen Hiroshi totally hits the mark. Emeryville lucks out for having this gem of a spot!

My favorite Ramen spot. I used to go to their location in Walnut Creek, but the Emeryville spot is much more convenient for me with better parking. Their Tonkatsu is my favorite. Be sure to try their house made chili paste!

Overpriced and bitter beef bulgogi. Glass noodles had no flavor.

Don’t be fooled. Very mediocre. I miss shiba ramen more than anything

Very tasteless and bland ramen. I wish the broth had more flavor.
