I had the black garlic ramen and it was one incredibly good ramen you don’t expect to be in a grocery store food court.
It was one of the first fish broth ramen I had in USA. It had a little sweetness to it.
I will try the original next time as well.

Came back to try the original fish broth as I was impressed last time.
Oh my gosh . It was so good!
Strong bonito flavor in the broth and it was so good!
I also tried the shoyu. It had the springier type noodles and the soup was lighter in texture , still had that dark shoyu depth to it and it has a slight sweetness.
I still liked the fish broth better.

Black Garlic ramen is now using the tonkotsu soup base! It is still excellent.
Though I really come here for the fish ramen.

I tried the spicy miso. It was a bowl that is built on top of the Tonkotsu base.
The spiciness is quite mild. It was as expected just as satisfying as the Tonkotsu offering.

This authentic Japanese ramen place is located inside Tokyo Central food court. Their soup base for the onodera ramen is quite rich and almost like pasta sauce. Very flavorful and not easily found in LA. I added extra noodles to the order as the soup base is well seasoned and thick. Noodles were thin but also al dente to perfection. Service is nice and friendly as well.

Comparing this establishment to the many ramen options available around here… I was impressed by the presentation, rich flavorful broth, and high quality ingredients. Also, PERFECT jammy egg!

Great fish based broth, which is difficult to find in the US. It is very thick and rich. I do wish they had a lighter/cleaner option.

Good and reasonable price but be aware it is a food court in the supermarket

This is the first American location for the noodle shop of the hugely popular Onodera Group, which is also popular in Japan.
You can enjoy high-quality ramen.
The side dish of char siu rice is also delicious, with careful attention to detail.
