Unique little spot in the basement of the courthouse building in Crown Point. Limited menu but good Ramen options. Good cocktail selection. There was not very many people there for how slow the service was.

My favorite ramen place – by far. We drive from Porter to Crown Point whenever we are feeling ramen. Their pork chasu is wonderful. I do miss their tonkatsu ramen broth, but the pork chasu ramen is still worth the drive. Broccolini & oyster mushrooms are always yummy. I’ve had a variety of their apps, all delicious. The only thing I don’t like is the drinks, but I’m fine with just water. I go semi frequently, all the wait staff is friendly and attentive.

I wish they’d open one in valpo or chesterton!

Nice little hidden gem that we didnt know existed! The employees were very friendly. We came in with a party of 7, no wait, fast service and food was great! We will definitely be back.

I’m giving this a 5 in the context that it’s located in NWI. It’s very much a 5 for NWI. The food is quite impressive, ambience is nice. I would still be very happy even if this was sitting in the middle of San Fran.

I would love to see some classic on the menu. They try to go a bit of the fusion route, and make some weird and interesting ramen. They’re quite good and well thought out, but the execution is just a hair off (shoyu eggs could be more jammy and potent as a start). Take that with a grain of salt though, as this is coming from someone that ate regularly at some of the best ramen spots on the west coast and Japan. I would 100% say this is worth a visit and will be back to try more of the unique flavors.

Being going here for long time, and today it was disappointing. Staff kept turning the light off and on for a long period of time. The they finally left them off for a while then returned with some red floor strange lights that they parked right near my eyes. Blinding ! The menus is slightly different, but the food was very bad, the pork was charred, inedible! The broth was not the same(been here a lot like I said). The chili crunch was different in a bad way, the broth was sooo sad/underwhelming and historically it had been very tasty. The pork gyozas were over fried, black. The wings were like eh. We order the same thing every time and everyone on my party said the same thing about their dishes.

Went with my bff and she ordered spicy pork ramen – I ordered drunken noodles (chicken) and we ordered pickled vegetable for app. We never receive the app but figured our server forgot and it was not a huge deal as it wasn’t on our bill and our food came so quickly we didn’t want to remind her so we just let it be. The food was ok but the drunken noodles were not spicy at all. It reminded me of a regular type of chow mein. The Chicken was grounded bits which was interesting but I prefer larger pieces of chicken and more flavor. The prices were good

We stopped in for lunch and tried the bao buns along with the Korean BBQ tots—absolutely 5 stars! I also had the Ganj-zilla drink, which was delicious. We loved it so much that we came back for dinner to sit out on the patio. This time, the Brussels sprouts stole the show as our favorite appetizer, and both of our drinks were amazing again.

The atmosphere is such a unique experience—eating in an old jail adds such a cool vibe to the whole place. Highly recommend!

A gem! Small menu but small kitchen so I imagine they have to do the best with what they have. And what they do, they do VERY well. Menu changes so it gives persuasion to keep coming back. Ramen is flavorful and you get a very nice sized bowl. My only critique would be a bigger bowl for the fried rice. Hard to eat when it’s piled so high in a small bowl. Drinks are delicious, even the non alcoholic ones!! Definitely worth trying if you have higher standards for your tongue.

Ugh. I really wanted to love this place. The food was good. The service was horrible! Our waitress was monotone and never smiled. We ordered a sake flight that never came until reminded and by the time we saw anyone to ask our food was there already. The waitress put our order in wrong so one person had to wait for their meal while everyone was eating. Never an apology or anything. I’ll order takeout next time.
