The corn ribs were good, but I wouldn’t get it again. The same with the calamari. We really wanted to try the desserts but didn’t have room. Will definitely come back for more!
Ramen Boys is a must-visit if you’re in Las Vegas, especially for vegetarians. This was easily one of the most delicious ramen and fried rice meals I’ve ever had and both were made completely vegetarian (no egg, no meat).
The staff customized the fried rice for us, and it had an incredible smoky flavor that really stood out. We asked for both dishes to be made spicy, and the spice level was absolutely perfect flavorful without being overwhelming.
Everything tasted fresh, comforting, and full of flavor. This place truly made our Christmas Eve night special. Highly recommend Ramen Boys to anyone looking for amazing vegetarian ramen and fried rice near the Strip! ✨
The pork is flavorful and tender, and my favorite item is the ajitama (marinated egg). The seasoning is excellent, though the yolk isn’t as runny as I prefer.
Moving on to the food, we started with calamari, which was delicious, crispy and well-seasoned. The corn was also a hit, even though I’m not usually a fan. The ramen was a bit of a letdown, mainly because they don’t make their noodles in-house. The noodles were slightly harder than I’d like, and the broth was just okay. The truffle broth was decent, but the pork-chicken combo broth was too salty for my taste. The pork was tender but not melt-in-your-mouth tender.
The standout was the shaved ice with mango, it was incredible! The texture was perfect, and the mango flavor was spot on. Overall, while there were some high points, the cleanliness issues made it a less enjoyable experience for me.
To add, a single bowl is actually good for 2 people. Pricing can be steep if you decide to add extra toppings as they range feom $2-$3 per topping, as they are heaping scoops add to your bowl.
I also ordered the fried chicken skin which was a good snack to start off the meal, but I added it to my ramen also.
I ended my meal with the sweet potato brulee with vanilla ice and it opened up my stomach to want to eat even more. I highly recommend the dessert! I ate everything including the potato skin as it was sweet and crunchy and paired very well with the ice cream! 10/10
On the menu:
Truffle Calamari
Tori Kawa Chips – Deep fried crispy chicken skin
Spicy Tonkatsu added Naruto fish cake (his ramen)
Kuro Tonkatsu added Naruto fish cake (my ramen)
We loved the Truffle Calamari with wasabi shoyu and truffle-mayo. The truffle flavor was perfect. The cabbage slaw was a nice addition.
The Tori Kawa Chips were crispy and tasty.
Now our Ramens-so delicious! My Love had the Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen he said it was delicious. The spice in the broth was perfect. He liked his Ramen.
I had the Kuro Tonkatsu Ramen – The broth was delightful it was creamy and savory. I love my Ramen noodles cooked Al Dente and it sure was. I like the thin noodles in this Ramen. The cut and size of the chasu pork was just right, the wood ear mushrooms and green onions were good too. It does get busy but it’s worth the wait. I recommend you give this place a try.
