This place is amazing!! Easily the best ramen I’ve ever had. The soft boiled egg was perfect. Service was quick, easy, and staff was super friendly — even tho we ordered online at our table! The place is well decorated and very clean. Wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely come again and recommend to all our friends!!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very warm and inviting, super cozy. Food prices are so affordable for the quality of the food. The food was amazing, everyone must try! Honestly this food may be one of my new favorites, from their sashimi (which was very fresh) to their ramen and belly bowls, everything was a 10/10. Even the service was fast, and very patient, answering all our questions. Highly, Highly Recommend!!

Food was amazing! We were in Iowa city for a hospital visit which is an hour away from us and have to try their ramen and the appetizer chicken it was the best we had tried. Server was very welcoming and owner itself was very inviting as well. We will definitely drive back again to eat at this place.

I thought all the food we ordered had a fishy taste. Even the chicken karrage tasted fishy. I like the atmosphere though, just very small restaurant, only about six tables inside.

We came here out of curiosity of what a Ramen restaurant was all about. I was very pleasantly surprised, it was not the fast food cheap noodle atmosphere I expected. The food was very good, service was incredibly friendly and the overall environment was pleasant.

This is our favorite ramen spot in town. Paper Crane is great too, but Ramen Belly is more “traditional” in style. Located in a quaint neighborhood, the restaurant has a cozy, inviting vibe. Note that half of the seating is high top (which doesn’t work for us), so we usually try to call and check on the seating situation before heading over. We love their poke bowl and ramen. The house broth is complex and not overly rich which I prefer over the tonkotsu. Don’t forget to add the pork belly which is melt-in-your-mouth yumminess. Friendly owner/chef and good music are a plus. Ramen Belly will continue to be on our regular rotation!

The tonkotsu was amazing! I can’t say enough how nice the quality of the food and decor was. They had real flowers in the centerpieces on each table! You don’t see that anywhere else anymore!
You walk in and order at a kiosk or use a QR code at your table which was actually a nice experience. Definitely recommend to anyone taking a significant other or just want a laid back place to come with a friend. Not much seating for singles other than the little bar area.

We love ramen and super wanted to love this place, but we thought it was only okay. The ramen was not nearly flavorful enough for us. Maybe we didn’t get the right one? The server wasn’t much help when we asked for recommendations. The short ribs were pretty decent, but small amount for the price. The ambiance was cool, but it felt kind of odd since we weren’t greeted for a minute or two, so I’d say the service was just okay.
