The best ramen in Victoria – no, the best ramen I’ve ever had, to be honest. I keep it classic and almost always get the tonkotsu ramen, but I have it on good authority that the other dishes are equally as good.

The broth is perfectly balanced and flavourful, the noodles are always cooked just right, and the eggs are to die for. The green tea (hot or cold) accompanies the meal perfectly and the mochi makes for a great end.

Additionally, the service and atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it’s easy to see why they’re popular. If you’re looking for your next great meal, make it Ramen Arashi!

First time trying ramen totally worth it!
I visited Arashi Ramen in Victoria for the first time, and it was such a great experience. I ordered the extra-extra spicy veggies miso ramen with a Coke, and it was delicious perfectly spicy and full of flavor. The bowl had corn, spinach , tofu, veggies, red chili, noodles, and crispy garlic onions that added a nice crunch.

We also ordered spring rolls, and they were really nice hot, crispy, and perfectly crunchy. The vibe of the place was really cozy and gave that real Asian restaurant feel they have cool cloth-style posters and even the menu looked like a hand-painted artwork. Loved the overall experience! Definitely planning to go again.

Absolutely AMAZING!! The food, the owner, staff and ambience! The ramen soup base is really good and rich – you know they’ve put in the time to make it. The ramen noodles is cooked to perfection! We had the Tonkatsu and the Devil Arashi (recommended Super Spicy level – sooooo good if you can handle spicy!) the chicken karaage is must and we finished off with some mochis for dessert! It was so good we had to order another one to go! the owner was so nice to talk to, will definitely be back whenever we visit here! Thank you for being here! We appreciate good food and awesome ppl!! ❤️

A clear winner in the ramen game in Victoria. Fantastic service as well.
I tried the tantan white sesame ramen which was great, and I heard the black sesame was great as well. I especially loved the spicy tonkotsu.
All ingredients beautifully seasoned, ramen cooked to perfection, the egg is perfect, and I would return solely for the chashu (the braised pork belly) alone. Such a well-rounded and fabulous place.
Oh and the cherry on top is the value. Great price for what you get. Bravo.

I ordered their signature Arashi Tan Tan Ramen.
Noodles: chewy (I love chewy noodles)
Broth: very thick and creamy
Pork: tender and melts in your mouth, not as hot as I’d like but still good
Egg: not as gooey as I like but still good
Toppings: crunchy/fried garlic and some peanuts add a nice crunchiness to the dish. Overall I’d give food 4.5 it was very pleasing to my palate. The restaurant is very busy I came at 1125 am at the opening on Sunday and there were about 10 people waiting for the restaurant to open.

Nothing compares to Ramen Arashi in Victoria, or even Vancouver, in my opinion.

I have been going to Ramen Arashi for a good year now regularily and it’s the best Ramen I’ve ever eaten every single time without fail. I’m consistently dissappinted when I try new ramen places, and it always proves to me that there’s no competition for Arashi.

I always get the Tonkotsu, it’s delicious and creamy and salty and warm, the chashu always melts in your mouth, the egg fills your mouth with flavour, the noodles are perfectly textured, all the additional little bits of flavour complement the whole experience.

Ramen Arashi will ruin all other ramen for you in the best way.

We came here because of the reviews, and they did not disappoint. The wait time on a weekend afternoon was about one hour. The ramen came out around 20 minutes after we ordered. It was one of my favourite ramen bowls. I’ve had better ramen before, but this is definitely one of the good ones. If you are in Victoria and craving ramen, this is definitely a place to try.

This place is so busy. Constant foot traffic for dining in and lots of take out. Ramen and broth was tasty. I liked the loyalty stamp card for free appetizer.

I felt like I was back in Japan. The Ramen was Oishikattadesu!!!! Good stuff, theres a reason why theres a crazy lineup. Not sure how the weekends are but overall the experience was authentically japanese. 100% recommend. Many Ramen soups, I havent tried the appetizers buuuuut the the new card I will definitely be punching it in and trying one out. The location was decent too with parking and close to bus stop. The interior had tables for 4-6, 2’s, and single bar, this is very classic Japanese. The staff were very professional. And the interior looked very cozy with the classic Japanese wood finish.
