Stepping into Ramen and Bowl felt like opening a small portal into comfort food heaven. I went with the spicy salmon temaki and chicken teriyaki, and the temaki especially was a standout, fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. Each bite felt thoughtfully put together, not rushed.
There was a small plot twist in the evening when my chicken teriyaki got lost somewhere on its journey to the table but the staff handled it with real grace. They apologized and gifted me a complimentary miso soup, which honestly felt like a warm little peace offering from the kitchen gods. Smooth recovery and genuinely appreciated.
I also tried a couple of Japanese bottled drinks that made the whole meal feel a bit more playful and memorable fizzy, colorful, and fun.
Not flawless, but charming, flavorful, and handled with care when it mattered. A near-magical dinner with a human moment and that’s worth coming back for.

We’ve been on the hunt for some good Asian food in Bellingham ever since relocating. This has been our favorite and closest to authentic we’ve had so far in Bham.
We’ll be back often.

Seems like it is a popular spot for takeout; there were maybe three tables taken and a dozen online order bags behind the counter when I went. The salmon was so fresh!

This place always has such a chill vibe any time I’ve gone. Walk in, order at the counter, grab a table, and enjoy some tasty food! Great ramen and pretty big food menu, and some good choices in beverage to pair with it too! The only thing I wish they had was a fully vegan and/or gluten-free ramen option so that those with dietary concerns can enjoy it as well – I believe their creamy veggie option is vegetarian but the noodles contain egg.

First time eating here, and let me tell you wish I’d come here sooner. The service was amazing, with a comfy atmosphere especially for later in the evening. The late night menu had plenty of options. Not to mention there’s 99 cent Sapporos with purchase after 8:30pm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving ramen

Came in for their late night menu. Wife had the miso ramen and the tonkatsu ramen for myself, along with a mini curry rice bowl and a side order of gyoza. She really liked her miso but I found my tonkatsu to have an unappealing flavor. I absolutely devoured the curry!
People were piling into the restaurant late into the evening. We came around 10-ish. Great chill spot for a pair or a small group. Seating does seem like it fill up quick and turnover not so much, so ordering takeout seems like the way to go. Orders come out quick from the kitchen.

Walked by Ramen + Bowl while heading for a coffee run and the menu caught our attention. Ended up coming back for a super early dinner (or super late lunch?) and tried two of their Donburi (rice bowl) – the una-gyu and the volcano.
Both were excellent – good portion and lots of toppings. The option to add a side curry for $4.75 was great because it completely changes up the hot Donburi. I found that adding some curry overtop of the beef portion paired really well
Staff are super friendly and lots of tables and counter space available. Will definitely be coming back again. Will try the ramen next time.

A big bowl of delicious, hot ramen. The seaweed salad was really good, and I don’t like seaweed. Gyoza were nicely seasoned and not too salty. Sometimes Japanese food is too salty, but I really appreciated that it wasn’t so I could taste the actual flavors. I thought the prices were very fair for how good it was and how satisfied I was when I left. No stars for service because it’s an order-at-counter set-up/they don’t ask you, so not any real serving being done. It’s cold, so wear a sweater. Looking forward to my next visit, tho.

Showed up as soon as they opened and I’m glad I did. They were hoppin’ on Friday at 5pm! Food came out quickly though and it was rich in flavor and very fresh. Hand roll was good too. Will definitely come back
