I’ve been to Rambling River Mercantile quite a few times now and I’ve never left disappointed. It is a family owned business that pays attention to the details and have created a much needed place for coffee, homemade pastries, breakfast and gifts in the Haw River area.

Everything about this sweet gem located in Haw River is a great way to unwind, drink an iced mocha outside on the patio and just simply chill. First time coming here and the staff was very welcoming. I love finding coffee shops like this that support the local area. Here, in this charming establishment, you can taste the quality in their drinks and food/pastries. If you’re looking for something different and delicious, look no further! Stop by and see what I mean. You won’t be disappointed!

Rambling River Mercantile is a family owned business. When you walk in you are greeted by one of the owners. It is a very welcoming atmosphere with great coffee, barbeque, baked goods and ice cream. If you want to support a local restaurant with amazing owners you will not be disappointed. They also offer catering and food truck services.

I love this little coffee shop! It’s teeny tiny, but with big service. We’ve stopped in a few times and have had a great experience each time. The coffees delicious and so is the soft serve!! There’s also cute little gifts and local goods throughout the shop. A little gem.

Cutest little spot in Haw River! The biscuits were big and delicious and the coffee was spectacular! I got the Nutty Mocha with Oatmilk and it wasn’t too sweet but was just perfectly sweet! I had my hands full with the food and my baby, they helped me out to my car. Super sweet team of workers. Very cute decor and items for purchase! I love supporting local, Christian based businesses. Definitely will be back!

The coffee is DELICIOUS! Every pastry or baked good I have tried has been yummy! And it’s baked fresh! My favorite is probably the maple pecan scone or coffee cake with an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso! Katie is the best and always makes sure her customers are taken care of. Then Matt and Jen cook up a storm with the grab and gos and weekend items. I’m so happy to have choices on this side of town without having to go into Mebane, Graham or Burlington. They will continue to get my business!

1st time coming since the name change. I got an Iced Mocha coffee, BCE biscuit and a bakery item (rice krispy treat peanut butter flavored). The coffee was good, the BCE biscuit was loaded with bacon and very good! I accidentally got the PB Flavored rice krispy treat thinking it was plain & that was the BEST mistake ever! It was absolutely delicious ! The service was great, prices are reasonable and beautifully decorated! Will definitely be back!

Even though their hours say they’re open until 8pm on the door, Don’t plan on going if you want a coffee after 2pm. I had never been here before but see people talking about it so thought I’d give it a try. I went in at 2:40pm and exchanged pleasantries with a nice guy who worked there and asked where I could get coffee and he said right here at the coffee counter. I made my way over and 2 gals were standing there and without greeting me, one said to the other “you need to put the closed sign up” and I said oh are you closed? then they looked at me and said “yeah we close coffee at 2“ and appeared annoyed. I said “oh I didn’t know this is my first time here” and proceeded to leave. The nice man spoke up when I made my way to the door and said we can get you something what would you like? I said I just wanted an iced coffee and the shorter gal who had already rolled her eyes when the man spoke up said “no we are out of iced coffee” I said an iced latte or something? She said all the dishes were dirty and the man asked if I could wait. I said no, my children are in the car and I left. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable interaction since 1) it says they’re open til 8 and 2) one employee seemed to want to help while others didn’t. My money and love for mid-day iced coffee when running errands with three children was appreciated at another local establishment. 2 stars for the man who really tried to be kind
