Even though it wasn’t that busy they just seem to rush us . I hadn’t finished my starter and most definitely hadn’t finished my main before it disappeared off the table. Won’t be going back as I was there to have a good time not a rushed time

It is an excellent place with great tasting food and excellent service.
The tables have plenty of space around them, so you have a really nice comfortable environment to chat and eat.
Food is really tasty and authentic and well presented.
It is unlicensed, so bring your own alcohol and they will bring you a glass.
Easy enough to park out the front, too.
I experienced a warm welcome without any issues and was taken to a lovely table where the service was fantastic.
All the staff were friendly and approachable.
I ordered the drinks, starters and mains for the three of us.
Even though the restaurant was busy, the service we received was faultless, everything arriving on time and in perfect order.
The food was wonderful with no complaints.
We will definitely visit again to try other items from the menu!
Thank you again for accepting us without a booking, we all had a lovely time and meal.
Patrick.
The staff were shockingly rude from the moment we walked in. We planned to share dishes as a group, which is completely normal in any restaurant, but we were abruptly told that anyone who didn’t order “their own plate” would be charged £10 per head. No politeness, no explanation. Jut attitude.
Their communication was terrible throughout. Instead of helping or making us feel welcome, they spoke to us in a dismissive and unfriendly way. Even our female friends were spoken to harshly and without any respect. For a restaurant that claims to serve the community, the behaviour was completely unacceptable.
The only reason we stopped here was because it was on our route during a long cross-country drive. Honestly, we would have preferred eating anywhere else. Rude staff, nonsense policies, and an overall hostile atmosphere. Definitely not worth your time or money.
Avoid unless you’re prepared to be treated poorly.
We had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant. The man taking our order was extremely rude from the very beginning. One of our friends wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t planning to eat much, but he took away their plate and said they couldn’t have their own plate because “there’s no way they can share food with us.”
He also said that anyone who isn’t eating would have to pay £10 just for being in the restaurant, which was very strange and completely unprofessional. Instead of explaining politely, he spoke to us in a very rude and dismissive manner the entire time.
Because of his behaviour and the negative atmosphere, we ended up cancelling and leaving.
Worst service ever , unwelcoming, rude staff, and uncomfortable environment. Definitely would not recommend.
Food portion size was great and the price is good aswell as the taste of the food is great
I feel like if you know you have such a large booking you should be better prepared. Even by asking for a menu choice before or offering a limit menu for the group.
I have been to this restaurant before and had no problem. But after our experience we won’t be returning.
Having received calls and confirmed multiple times, this was a very very poor experience. Disorganised chaos and clearly overbooked. Plenty of notice was given which was more frustrating.
