The food was delicious but the portions were small.
The service was great from the staff.
The prices were reasonable and they didn’t add a service charge to my bill.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at RAMA, the best Thai restaurant in Rugby. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine Thai hospitality. The atmosphere is elegant, cozy, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect setting for an authentic dining experience.
The food was exceptional. Every dish burst with fresh ingredients, rich aromas, and perfectly balanced flavors that truly represent the heart of Thai cuisine. The presentation was stunning, and every bite felt crafted with passion and care. Whether you prefer something mild, fragrant, or spicy, RAMA delivers perfection on every plate.
The service was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and always accompanied by a sincere smile. The staff made me feel welcome and appreciated throughout the entire visit.
RAMA is a true gem in Rugby — a place where delicious food, authenticity, and warm hospitality come together beautifully.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Thai dining experience.
Great choice of wines and cocktails. Massaman curry was really nice – so would recommend that.
Authentic design and atmosphere, although I wish they have had some sort of music on. It was quiet and you can hear every conversation around
Beyond this the atmosphere of this place is out of this world. The chairs and tables are covered in these intricate relief carvings. The tables covered by a sheet of glass. The walls are covered in more incredibly detailed relief carvings.
Every detail felt luxurious, the embroidered cloth napkins, the intricate vegetable garnish on most the dishes, and the overwhelming amount of detail and thought that had seemingly been put into this place. Honestly when I walked in I think my wallet had a panic attack. But no, on top of all the luxury the prices are very affordable. I think the total bill for a 3 course meal for me and my girlfriend came out to about £45, including two drinks.
I recommend to anyone who is in the area.
The service and atmosphere made the experience even better. The portions were perfect and the dishes came out in great time. My only regret is not discovering this gem sooner! We will definitely be back.
The food was very nice, but the portions were a bit small. I enjoyed the sweet and sour tofu with rice. People with me had Thai green curry, massaman, prawn tempura and ribs. The ribs were very little and not so great, but the rest was little but nice.
The staff were rushing around, I think they need more staff. We were accidentally given alcohol instead of a Mocktail, which was remedied quickly but not good for us. Again, I think they were understaffed.
I’d definitely have the sweet and sour from here again, and I’d recommend eating here. Not a wow, but a very good albeit expensive meal. The set menu looked good value though!
