The appetizer was good. We had mozzarella sticks and gator bites. Their rolls were soo good and paired with the whipped butter. So yummy! I should have just had that as my entree. The shrimp au gratin was super greasy. The rice with the shrimp etouffeé was bland, so was the sauce. The grits and cheese just had shredded cheese melted on top. The grits, bland, stiff and were not creamy. It was almost like the food was prepared previously and just heated in the microwave. The jambalaya rice seemed like leftovers as well. The shrimp was overcooked. The hushpuppies were good and the breading on the gator bites were well seasoned. The service was good, our server was very attentive and the host was nice. Maybe we went on a bad day, I am not sure but I left a lot of food barely touched on the table there.

My waitress Crystal was amazing. Speedy service and friendly. Will definitely be coming back. Ordered the crawfish special (also the hush puppies as an appetizer) Food was great!

If a cracker barrel and a diner and an old pizza parlor, and maybe a zest of cheesecake Factory had a baby it would be this restaurant. Absolutely odd ball vibes, but honestly I’m here for it. Service was nice, but food overall was just fine. Solid 3 star meal, decent flavor across all the dishes on the table but nothing overly remarkable outside the absolutely bonkers portion sizes. If you walk away hungry, you’re ready for an eating contest.
So why should you go here if the entrees are just fine? The appetizer yeast rolls. Oh my lawd Jesus, those things and that buttaa mmm baybee. Wow. Those things were absolutely bangers. Would go back and just buy an entire dinners worth and then proceed to die of a heart attack, but know I would die happy.

Great customer service & very generous portion sizes. Everything was delicious from appetizers to dessert. We ordered the Hushpuppies, the Jambalaya & the Shrimp, Sausage & Grits. We also ordered the Beignets. The meal came with The best complimentary rolls I’ve ever had in my lifeeeee. We shall come back!!!

The service itself was friendly, and the atmosphere seemed to be pretty laid-back and enjoyable, but the food is awful. The rolls that I received are as hard as a rock and literally make a thumping sound when I hit it on the desk just like a rock would. The hush puppies aren’t much better, really dried out & seem to be cooked the day before. They crumble into nothing when you squeeze them lol. The fish was most definitely not cooked fresh, it was dry. Thank god for the Étouffée to moisten it up but it’s mediocre as well. Food is awful, I did get it to go so it could be different for dining in but in this case, TRASH

We were pleased with the service we received at the restaurant. The greeter found a table for us that was quiet and not too close to other customers. The thin catfish, seasoned fries & coleslaw I ordered was delicious. My friend raved about the gumbo. Our server was very attentive to our needs and made us feel welcome. We had a great experience at Ralph & Kacoo’s. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The black and the alligator was delicious. The oysters were good, but small. My filet mignon had no type of seasoning at all, very disappointed crab meat out of the can.

While visiting the area with my wife we tried this place for the first time. We were searching for a place to eat at that was not the usual and I wanted to try something cajun. The wife picked this place from looking online and I wasn’t sure but that’s what she wanted. It turned out to be a perfect choice. There were so many things to choose from it was hard to make a choice because it all sounded amazing. The sweet tea was on point to start with which is extremely important to me, and the bread was out of this world! The bread was hot, soft, and drizzled with a garlic butter that was running down the sides. Amazing! I cant remember the names of the entrees we selected but they were 5 star. I ordered a dish that had 1 grilled 1 fried and 1 blackened piece of fish over a bed of rice with Étouffée covering it all. The wife got the flounder which had a crab cake over it and it was covered with lump crab and a delicious sauce. She got brussel sprouts and i got the asparagus as sides. Their brussel sprouts are by far the best I have ever had and the asparagus were awesome as well. Overall our server and our food were outstanding and we are excited to go back. This was the BEST meal I have had in years and I sincerely mean that. I have to also mention that each and every employee there were very polite and friendly which you don’t usually see, made our visit even more pleasant. Thank you from us folks from northeast Texas!

Good down home Cajun/seafood with a relaxed community restaurant feeling. I had the Shrimp Travel which was a ton of food but good. The rolls (not pictured) were delicious. Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits eat your heart out.
