Visited here when passing through, seemed like a good spot for some authentic Japanese food with that homemade care and attention and I was not wrong.
A lot of dishes ordered from beef ribeye skewer, honey cheese fried chicken, dragon rolls and more.
All the food was freshly prepared and delightful, lots of flavour and depth.
Really enjoyed the ribeye skewers, also pork gyozas and that honey cheese fried chicken was certainly different but delightful.
Not often I will pass kenilworth but if I do again I will certainly come back.
If you’re passing or local, go check it out you will not be disappointed.

We popped in on a Saturday lunchtime and were seated straight away with warm greetings. We went on holiday to Japan last year, the food we ordered honestly tasted very similar to our experience eating in Japan. We had salmon and tuna nigiri, takoyaki, ebi katsu curry and chicken skewers. Asahi was good, on tap and the drinks menu seemed to have a good range. The food came out in good time after we ordered. The nigiri tasted fresh and good. We enjoyed all our food. The takoyaki had the little bonito flakes on and really did seem very similar to the ones we had in Osaka. The service was good and friendly. The decor and atmosphere felt nice. We enjoyed the little touches that reminded us of being in Japan. We are definitely coming back!

Pretty solid meal with a really nice izakaya-like ambience. Small letdowns with the overcooked egg in the tonkotsu ramen and the slightly mushy sushi rice, but appreciated the good taste and ingredients.

We were looking for something warm, and came across this shop and since it is windy and freezing outside..it is a perfect excuse for a ramen.
The spicy tonkotsu ramen was fab! it is oishi!
The staff were also lovely, they were just busy but they were helpful. It became very busy when we left!

The service was lovely and the food itself was amazing. Genuinely delicious food. The vibe is cool, perfect for a date night or a night with friends. Plus the costs are reasonable – it’s not nandos cheap, but it definitely won’t break the bank. One of the best Independant restaurants in Warwickshire. Highly recommend.

This is a really nice restaurant with friendly staff and an authentic menu. We’ve been here a couple of times for lunch on a Sunday when it’s been quiet. Lots of choice, sushi, meat skewers and larger plates. You can park over the road at Sainsbury’s and then pick up some shopping on your way home. Recommended.
