The food is AMAZING!! We got the Naruto Ramen and the combination bento box with Yum Yum shrimp and teriyaki steak. The portions are generous and we left absolutely stuffed and happy with food to spare. The atmosphere is fun and unique with the Japanese themed decorations and vibrant colors. The hospitality was spot on and very kind. We will be back!

The food here is absolutely delicious! From the appetizers to the main dishes, everything exceeded my expectations. The chicken karaage was perfectly crispy, and the hamachi jalapeño had an incredible balance of crunch and spice such a delightful combination!
The Bento with three kinds of meat was flavorful and satisfying. The soup was served hot (just the way I like it!), and the broth was rich and comforting.
To top it all off, the owner surprised us with a free tiramisu to try—such a thoughtful gesture and a great way to finish the meal!
Overall, a fantastic dining experience with amazing food and warm hospitality.

My husband and I go to Raku Ramen & Sushi quite often, and it’s always a great experience. I’ve had the ramen and sushi many times—both are consistently delicious—and today I tried the hibachi, which was also very good. The food comes out quickly with not much of a wait, the service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. It’s one of our regular go-to spots, and we highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our dinner here. Our first time, and was not used to being seated and then told to come up and order and pay. Wasn’t bad at all, just a little confusing at first.
Started with dumplings and crab rangoon. The crab rangoon was amazing. We got a Raku and Crunchy roll. Both were good. Lots of rice.
Raman was yummy. The only complaint with the whole meal was the soft boiled egg. Very over cooked. The egg is one of our favorite parts of ramen, so if we had anything to complain about, it would be that.
If you want extra sauce, they have a little sauce bar by the drinks. We loved that.
We will be back!

I have been excited to try Raku since it opened a couple of months ago. We went today for lunch and it was busy but not too busy that we didn’t get seated right away. We ordered the Raku poppers for an appetizer and they were delicious and not spicy from the jalapeños. My husband got the chicken and steak hibachi with noodles. It was a huge portion and the meat was really good but the chicken was the best of the 2. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box and everything in it was very tasty. We both had left overs and are looking forward to eating them later. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They have some grab and go things like musubi and sando that I would love to try some time and we will definitely be back again!

Don’t walk, RUN to eat at this place. Super friendly, professional service. The inside is very clean and the decor is eclectic, just like a night market in Japan. The real treasure though is the food, everything we ate was absolutely delicious!!! It may seem a little pricey but, there is more than enough for two meals!!! Ozarks new must eat place

New review from September 23: We gave Raku another chance. All though the server was very nice, everything else was disappointing. The steak and Ramen tasted off like they just gone bad. The crunchy roll we ordered obviously came out of the fridge and the sauce on it has dried up. My husbands food got brought out 30min after I already had mine, and everything was super salty. I ended up being sick later at home. Save your money and go to OMO in Springfield.

The Dragon Roll was good. 2 people on our table waited about 45min for their food, while the rest of us already got theirs. The rice was delicious! They were out of a lot we wanted to try, but again, I understand that with how busy it has been for them. Most of the food was just okay, but im sure they’ll find their flavor eventually. I loved the vibe of the restaurant, the decor and location is quite cool! Seats were not very hip-friendly, tho. Lastly, I’m not the biggest fan of the AI use for product and marketing images, but I guess its the new norm for businesses these days. We want to give Raku another try a few months down the line, we’ll look forward to it!

I am beyond disappointed with our experience at Raku. I would give it zero stars if I could. We called ahead to order two sushi combo lunches with yum yum sauce (one with fried Cali rolls, and one with fried Philly rolls) while driving from Springfield. Despite being told the food would be ready in 15-20 minutes, we were forced to wait an additional 20 minutes in the parking lot with a crying baby in the backseat. When the food was finally handed over, the staff blamed the 40 minute total wait on the sushi being “fried,” which was confusing for the simple and small order we placed. The frustration continued once we got home. The yum yum sauce lids were not secured properly, causing sauce to leak all over the inside of the bag and the containers. Upon opening our boxes, we discovered that all four spring rolls that were supposed to come with the combos were missing entirely. To make matters worse, the quality of the sushi was appalling! Some of the Philly rolls had no salmon in them at all, and the rolls were made with avocados that were black and rotten. I have half a mind to report this to the health department. We essentially waited 40 minutes for a messy bag of incomplete food and spoiled produce. Do not waste your time, money, or even health by eating here. We will definitely not be returning.

I ordered a ramen and it was amazing. My husband ordered Hibachi. It was good except the steak was raw. They brought out a second steak to replace the raw one and it was even more raw. After that we were ignored.
