Very nice authentic Bengali food. Ordered few items like Chicken egg devil, Shrimp cutlets, Chicken kobiraji, Mutton weekend Thali, Misti doing, chanar jilepi and pretty satisfying. The mutton kosha in the Thali was excellent. Misti doing is on another level. Shrimp cutlets were good size and tasty but the other 2 starters were okay. Highly recommend this place and will be back soon to try some more dishes. Saw a lot of reviews saying food was oily but I think the dine in experience is better for those dishes as I did not see anything too much oily.

COCKROACH INSIDE FOOD : We visited Rakhi’s Kitchen for a Sunday brunch buffet. While eating the potato curry and after almost finishing the dish, I discovered a small dead cockroach at the bottom of the bowl. This is a very serious food safety issue and completely unacceptable under any circumstances. Finding something like this only at the end of the meal makes it even more disturbing and raises concerns about overall kitchen hygiene and quality control. I am sharing this review so other customers are fully aware before deciding to eat here. I strongly urge the management to take immediate and concrete action to address cleanliness and prevent this from happening again.

Easily the best Bengali food in DFW-area. Ambience is not that great but the food is excellent. Never disappointed.

It was uber eat delivery for Kheer Kadam, Rasgulla and Paneer Jalebi (it was not there in the uber eat menu, they added via phone).

Everything is so delicious, less sweet, I can eat again and again.

Please add more Sweet variety like Sandesh, etc

This place has good Bengali menu with different options. Agree that of all the restaurants in this locality, this restaurant is the only place having authentic Bengali cuisine. I ordered their fish chops, luchi, aloor dum, kosha mangsho, gurer sondesh on uber eats. Did not find the taste worth the price, little disappointed with the kosha mangsho as it was too much masala, and the aloor dum was too oily with the potatoes not fully cooked. Fish chops was okay, hardly found the taste of fish in it, it was mostly dominant with mashed potatoes, the kasundi also wasn’t that great. Gurer Sondesh was good.

Went with my husband and sister.
Ordered kathi paneer roll- horrible taste with so much oil. And kathi roll was made with puri

Then ordered fish kabiraji- OMG.. never had such in Kolkata. It was made with tilapia and the fish was bland without spices. Never ever try this one if you have ever tasted the original kabiraji.

Mutton cutlet- mutton was stinking.. the stuffing was watery

Not a good experience.

I wanted to try Bengali sweets and couple of my friends recommended this place. I tried mishti doi and sandesh. Both tasted great. The only request I had was to mix and match sweets but they refused so I had to choose between which one to get. One more suggestion would be to improve the presentation of these sweets

The Gulab Jamun was disappointing, with sugar crystals and undercooked dough, making it one of the worst dishes. On the other hand, the Rasmalai was outstanding—I recommend trying the regular version rather than the Kolkata style. I also suggest the team improve the Gulab Jamun and ensure fresh batches are made, as I often receive old stock, which significantly affects the taste.

Had heard about this place from a friend. Hence had planned lunch with family, but very sorry to share that the food was not at all as per standards. Lots of oil in the food and the taste is also not like authentic Bengali food that they claim to be. We ordered Kathi roll, mutton chop and fish kobiraji. The Kathi roll was nothing close to Bengal kathi roll and the mutton was stinking in the mutton chop. Fish kobiraji was oily and didn’t taste well. Bad experience and would not recommend others.
