I visited this restaurant twice because the reviews were very high and I really wanted to like it. The first time, I came for the buffet. Unfortunately, the chicken and lamb were very overcooked and lacked flavor. The lamb also had a strange taste. The dessert I tried even had a metallic smell and taste, like it had absorbed it from the pot.

I decided to give the place another chance and came back during regular hours. I ordered chicken biryani and soup. The soup was okay, and the naan bread was actually very good. The service on both visits was excellent friendly and attentive.

However, the chicken biryani was disappointing. There were only a few small pieces of chicken, and overall it didn’t feel worth the price. For the amount I paid, I expected much better quality and portion size.

The restaurant is inside the hotel, good ambiance. Dal Tadka and naan were great. Veg Hakka Noodles was served cold and was tasting bad. Among chaats, Sev Puri was good.

Visited the restaurant for the lunch buffet while I was stuck in SLC due to a winter storm that cancelled all my flights.

I want to caveat the review with the possibility that the elevation difference between my hometown and SLC may have caused this experience.

All the dishes were cooked well, but the seasoning was just an absolute let down. None of the dishes had enough salt or seasonings for the dish. I could tell that the lamb was cooked very well, but I could barely taste anything.

Looking through some other reviews, it seems like there are a lot of reviews complaining of lack of seasoning, so I feel like I’m not incorrect in my review.

Please season the food more and have someone else eat and provide feedback. I think the cooking was done very well, it just needs more seasoning and flavor!

It’s possible that they under-season the buffet because they have regulars who can’t handle the spice, but I felt like I was eating “meat in mild broth” for most of the dishes.

What a hidden gem! I had the Rajma Masala, which I haven’t seen at other restaurants. It was so good! Love that they have Jain options. The staff were also so nice and attentive. The location is odd because it is located inside a hotel, but definitely worth a visit!

Food was great! I ordered Dal soup and chicken Tendori bone in… the server Jagdish was a great guy, he happily brought me a different side of chutney to try and was very attentive and polite without hovering. If youre in the SLC airport area and tired of American and Fast food, want a home style hearty meal at a reasonable price this is the place to go! Rajwadi Pointe is clean, the food is delicious and the dinning room is relaxing and spacious…

The Indo-Chinese sizzler was not worth the price. Taste was not even close to an Indo-Chinese dish. Quantity was Very small for the price. I should just stop trying Indian places in the US. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Was completely surprised at the quality of the food. Given the setting, I did not expect it to be so good.

The curries were flavorful, meat wasn’t dry. I don’t actually know the name of most of the dishes as I went here with an Indian friend who ordered, but the apps were are very tasty.

Will definitely come back again.

I would not recommend this restaurant — it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my life. I came to Salt Lake City on a business trip and searched for nearby Indian restaurants. I found this place and ordered lamb curry with roti. When I tasted the curry, it felt like lamb pieces soaked in plain water — no salt, no masala, nothing. I canceled that order and tried the chicken biryani instead. It tasted like it was made with tomato sauce, had only a few small pieces of chicken, and the portion was very small for such a high price. Overall, a terrible experience — I would never try food like this again.

We stopped here for lunch based on the reviews when in the area. The place is clean and spacious. There was lunch buffet on Monday afternoon but we did Al carte. We ordered chicken biryani, masala papad, Vada pav, veg noodles, chicken tikka masala, naan and falooda. The portions of all the dishes were ridiculously small for the price. Vada pav was sweet and there was hardly any taste for the food. The tikka masala had lot of food color .The only items good for us were falooda and masala papad. They really need to focus on improving the taste of the food rather than just making it look good.
