We visited IndiaCo in Johns Creek and ordered Aloo Paratha from the kitchen inside the store. Before ordering, we specifically asked if it was fresh, and the cashier assured us that it was.

When we received the food, it was clearly a frozen paratha that had simply been reheated and served. When we questioned this, the explanation changed to saying they are “made fresh in their facility in Texas.” That’s very different from being freshly made in-house, which is what we were led to believe.

There’s nothing wrong with serving pre-made items — but transparency matters. If something is frozen and reheated, just say so. Misleading customers about freshness is disappointing and erodes trust.

Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to return.

CAUTION!!!! Dont buy chapati here.If you buy better check the size of chapati. On top side they will put big size chapati and bottom small ones. This is bad.

We decided to try this restaurant expecting a good experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had in a long time. I usually don’t leave reviews unless something is either outstanding or truly bad, and this visit was so frustrating that I feel people should know what they’re walking into.

False advertising everywhere
From the moment we started looking at the menu, we realized there was a huge gap between what was advertised and what was actually available. The kiosk and promotional pictures highlight items like live pani puri and taco bhel. Naturally, we were excited to try them and even placed an order. But when we asked about it, we were told they no longer serve pani puri at all. The taco bhel was also not available despite being pictured and promoted. That’s misleading and feels like bait-and-switch. If items aren’t on the menu anymore, the pictures and kiosks should be updated instead of advertising things that don’t exist.

Poor customer service
Things went downhill from there. The staff gave off the feeling that they didn’t want us there. No smiles, no basic courtesy, and no effort to make the experience pleasant. When we had questions about ordering from the kiosk (which was confusing because of all the items pictured that weren’t actually available), instead of helping us, the staff told us we were “wrong” and “didn’t know what we were doing.” That is not only unprofessional but also rude, especially when customers are trying to figure out a system that the restaurant itself set up.

Terrible service model
We spent over $130 on food, ordering a wide variety of dishes for the table. At that price point, you expect at least basic service. Instead, the food was not delivered to our table. Every few minutes one of us had to get up, walk over, and pick up the next dish ourselves. It completely disrupted the meal and made it feel more like a fast-food counter experience than a proper restaurant. When staff or management were nearby, they didn’t offer to help, check in, or even acknowledge the inconvenience.

Lack of management accountability
What makes this worse is that managers and higher-ups were visibly present during our visit. They saw what was happening — customers confused, staff being dismissive, food not being served properly — yet no one stepped in to make things right. There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to improve the experience. That lack of accountability tells me the problems here aren’t just with individual staff but with the way the whole place is run.

Overall impression
Between the false advertising, the rude and unhelpful staff, the poor service model, and the lack of leadership, this visit was extremely disappointing. We left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and like we had wasted both our time and money. For a place that advertises such an exciting variety of items, it’s misleading and ultimately delivers one of the worst customer experiences I’ve seen.

I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. There are plenty of other places where your money will be appreciated and where the service matches the price you pay. I will also be posting pictures so people can see firsthand the gap between what is advertised and what’s actually served.

Everything is made from scratch in their kitchen – from snacks to full meals. I tried their Gobi 65 (crispy, spicy, absolutely delicious!), Veg Sandwich, Punjabi Thali, Pav Bhaji, and even the Chole Puri, everything was fresh and flavorful. The corn chaat is also must try, and their South Indian breakfast, especially the dosa, was perfectly crispy.
They also serve fresh sugarcane juice, ABC juice with no added sugar, falooda which is so creamy and traditional Indian sweets like jalebi made with jaggery. Every item tasted homemade and authentic.
They even offer catering for large events and parties.

Very disappointed in the Indian sweets/Mithai we purchased at the Johns Creek GA location. I found it suspicious when I didn’t see any expiration dates on any of the fresh mithai from Rajula Kitchen but I still purchased it to try
As you can see in the pictures there was fungus on the sweets . Never again, go elsewhere for your sweets. Stay away from here

The Rajula kitchen tea furnace services for my home party was exceptional. All guests loved the masala Chai, available to them hot and full of flavored taste. They were were very appreciative to the quality served. Thank Rajula for their contribution making our get together memorable.

Way too much waiting for absolutely nothing. We stood at the counter for 15 minutes with no one in sight, even though they clearly saw us waiting. When someone finally showed up, we were told that nothing on the menu was available and that they were “closing in 10 minutes.” If that’s the case, why let us stand there the whole time without saying a word?
To make it worse, the staff was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing them. They said they were already cleaning the kitchen—again, after letting us wait for no reason. Overall, terrible service and zero consideration for customers. Would not return.

Unfortunately they are serving ‘stale food’ consistently.. Just to give a benefit of doubt, I tried few times, 6 out of 10 times, the snacks served are Stale, made from either bad curries from previous day .. ex. Bonda or Samosa.. They have a kitchen right there, but the food is stale.. go figure..

We love their Indian street food type menu items. The tea is good too. It’s a nice cafe conveniently located inside IndiaCo. This was not in Google Maps but it deserves to be on it, so I created the location as well.
