Loved their chicken biryani. I realized how overrated Angel restaurant is after tasting the biryani here lol. The quality and quantity of biryani were excellent and it came with ample amount of chicken pieces and the raita was also pretty amazing.

Would recommend adding up a spice coz their default seemed like a mild one probably to cater to the no Indian folks. Over all great biryani enjoyed it. Would give 4.5/5, cutting a 0.5 coz the I felt the texture of rice could be a bit drier but not a major flaw IMO. This was a to-go order, will definitely done in here soon

Tired the lamb biryani the next day and boy did it not disappoint at all, better than the chicken variant, so amazing!

Update nov 23: ordered lamb biryani today and the quality dropped significantly to what I had previously. Lots of white rice, lacking the flavor it previously had. Makes me wonder if they’re having quality control to ensure product consistency

Update dec 07: great biryani today, guessing it was an one off incident

Really good for what it’s worth! Got it as pick up and ate at home and it was still pretty good. The portion sizes are good with lots of meat.

Good tasty food. Large portion sizes. Naan especially was fresh/hot/soft/great. Chole-Bhature were good but little too oily. Staff was very polite.

Very tasty Indian food. I feel just like a Home very important thing. It’s very reasonable as per New York food prices quantity and quality both are justified. I take nine dollar combo one veg one chicken nan & rice this beautiful thali just in nine dollar. I really enjoyed the food after long time if you are staying in Queen’s area then you definitely visit once in Raj kitchen.

My first time trying Raj’s at the LIC location and it did not disappoint! It feels good to know you are eating good food from good people. We started off with a few appetizers. The Veggie Samosa, Lasoni Cauliflower and the Curry Cauliflower Soup. We ate some Naan and you know we had to try the Garlic Naan also! It was Delicious. For the Entree we ate Butter Chicken and Chicken Saag. Both were delicious but that Butter Chicken was everything! Raj the owner is always present and the atmosphere was cute and intimate for a late night Indian food craving! Please see some pictures and try it for yourself!

My Korean friend initially introduced me to this amazing Indian restaurant and I’ve been only ordering delivery since then. Today, I was walking my dog and craving for Indian, so I stopped by to make a to-go order. The order came out quick and the food was amazing as always. The owner of the restaurant was very sweet and gave my dog 4 pieces of chicken while we were waiting – she absolutely loved it as well. Highly recommend

The food is really good for a very good price and the portion is very large. The butter chicken is to die for. We ordered vegetable samosa, onion bhajiyas, butter chicken, lamb biryani, mali kofta curry, garlic naan, and mango lassi Everything was so good, but in my opinion, the butter chicken and lamb biryani were a smash hit. The mango lassi was standard and always a good choice of beverage. The onion bhajiyas were so crunchy as well. I usually order this to go, and it’s so good as a leftover. There is very limited seating, and there isn’t as much staff for dining in, so it is slower. Definitely would order out again instead of dining in. I will say the staff and owner are SO KIND and a great man.
