Chicken 65 appetizer, lamb rogan josh, tandoori butter roti, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala. Incredible, thank you for such a good meal! The chicken 65 was my favorite because it was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Food was stale. Host was rude all the time we visited here. On saying the food tasted stale, he responded with an aggressive tone instead of checking what’s wrong with it. We asked if we could take a different table, he responded by saying the restaurant is about to close and now you guys want a specific table. I don’t understand how is that impacting his service. There was still an hour for closing. He seemed like he is irked by my North Indian partner. Everybody else was good with hospitality except this one guy. It’s a nice place but food and hospitality are below par. I wouldn’t recommend going here instead try out the Tibetan Kitchen when in Madison.

I enjoyed the quick and tentative service, the atmosphere is quaint but cute and honestly it superseded my expectations from the outside look. All that aside, the food was phenomenal, flavorful and given my personal preference not too spicy. Everything came out promptly and I enjoyed the serving sizes, which would’ve been more than enough to share. I’d definitely come back, since I love authentic Indian food.

Service was quick. Good vegetarian options. Ordered a masala dosa. Chutneys all tasted very fresh and sambar had plenty of of vegetables. The potato filling of the dosa was a bit bland which may make it more accessible if you are not accustomed to spicy food. Overall the dosa was average but it was a decent serving size. Wish there was an option to add some spice to this dish as it was ordered extra spicy and I can’t say I really observed that.
