We ate here December 11, 2025 on a night when there were very few customers, and we were not impressed. The service, while friendly, was very slow.
They accommodated my wife’s request for goat saag (which isn’t on the menu), but the meat didn’t taste very fresh compared with that of other Indian restaurants. I had the prawn curry, which I did enjoy, and asked for medium spiciness. Like others have said, it’s hotter than you expect. I advise that if you think you’re “man enough” for medium or hot, drop it down one level. Enjoy your food and don’t try to be “the man”, ha ha.
The prices here are too high for what you get, and I would have otherwise given this category four stars.

The chicken biryani hits every taste sense on the tongue like an explosion between sweet, savory, spiciness (choose your level). I went no spice, and to be honest was spicy, BUT not too spicy for me. Everyone has their own tolerance.

Great ambience. Naan was fresh. Chicken Tikka masala lacked flavor. Barely 5 small peices of chicken. Biryani had bad odor. We brought it to the servers attention n got us another one with similar odor. We had to dig literally to find chicken peices. Portions are small and nit generous at all for the price they are charging.

Our server was Isha. Very pleasant.
This place has only just opened, so be patient. We had to wait a little while for our drinks. But don’t let that put you off. It’s a great place. A bar onto the sidewalk. Fantastic food and friendly service.
I would book if you’re coming here, although they do take walk ins. The Takeaway collection was busy which says a lot about this restaurant. 10/10

We had such a nice time at Rajmahal for Valentine’s Day last week! They started us off with two complimentary starters, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicious overall, the Chicken Malai Tikka and Butter Chicken were especially good. It was a double date for us, and the atmosphere made the evening feel warm and special. The three-course menu was well put together, and everything tasted great. We’ll definitely be coming back!
