We went here after my niece’s graduation. The food was really good and the portions were huge. My dad got the lamb chops and he talked about them for the rest of the night. I got butter chicken and someone else got the mixed gyro. Both gave raving reviews. Excellent place to eat for dine in or takeout. The bill for 9 people was right at $200, so everything was reasonably priced. The staff was very kind.

Just a small basic Indian restaurant nothing too fancy but the flavors are really good. We stopped by for a quick bite on our way back to Houston thinking they still have their lunch buffet. However that’s not the case currently they do not serve any buffet. That being said their menu is simple with a few Mediterranean options like Gyro and famous Indian dishes. Priced ok the food is freshly made except the rice and also their naan is made out of pita bread so it’s not authentic. The people are extremely friendly and polite.

This is a little restaurant in a strip with a good sized parking lot. The server was very friendly. The food was a bit hit and miss. The vegetable samosas were okay. The rice was nothing special. The paneer was subpar. The goat curry had a good flavor. The naan was subpar. The chicken biriyani was decent and very generous with the chicken. Overall, most of the food really seemed to be lacking the spice punch you expect from Indian food. The pricing seemed reasonable. There don’t seem to be too many Indian restaurant options in the city so if you have an Indian food craving, this place is a decent option.

Food did not taste good at all. They didn’t have 2 items that I wanted to order so I finally had to settle with Paneer Masala. They added so much color to it and it was served with rice. When the rice came it was pulao/biryani rice instead of white rice. I also ordered a roti which was so chewy and thick. Not sure what kind of roti was that. I don’t recommend this place. Sorry!

We’ve been once before and it was really good. I must say they didn’t disappoint this time either so I highly recommend it. He had the lamb gyro and I had the chicken gyro

I went to with my family today we ordered four different kinds of food and I asked for my son lent soup they brought “Dall” with rice and telling me that is our soups I laughed and told the server that first of all that’s not lent soup and second that’s spicy my son can’t eat that and ask lent soup no spicy. The rice they brought it was cold and it looks like overnight leftovers. I would not recommend anyone to try this place.

Indian food at it’s best! The lunch buffet was simply amazing. Every item I tried was freshly prepared and quite tasty. It was seasoned perfectly resulting in food hot enough to open my sinuses but not tasting like spices were added to make it hot. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The price was on the high side for a lunch buffet but considering the quality of food it was priced appropriately.

What can I say ? It’s the hidden gem of lake Charles. It’s possibly the best place to eat in the city. Not to mention very affordable with excellent service. I appreciate their small menu with excellent choices.

I think It’s the only option to try Indian Cuisine in Lake Charles. And it’s good!
Not one of the best Indian restaurants that I tried all over the states, however, considering LC is a small town, it’s good, especially their hospitality. The Waitress cum cashier is extremely efficient, and observant to the customer’s need even if you don’t tell her.
Some of the foods are good. I tried Chicken Biryani the other day, which is not good nor it’s a traditional Biryani. They do not have the best Chai too. However their vegetable samosa, kheer, mixed gyro are good to eat again. Recommended because of their exceptional hospitality.
